I am a Reaves guy, but lets face it, when he's out there there's never enough offensive zone possession where he'd even have time to set himself up in front of the net

Our 4th line actually achieves a remarkable amount of O zone possession time, IMO. But, you're right that he wouldn't spend much time in front to try for tips. They get that possession time by cycling and grinding the other team down in the corners.

yeah that's what I mean, the corner work is one thing, with the forecheck, but the style is never going to create enough time to park Reaves in front of the net for any length of time

I know this is kind of off-topic, but as someone who was hoping for even more offensive infusion (Rackell, etc.), does anyone here know if Brennan Othmann is a possibility for this season (maybe joining in the playoffs like Kreider in 2012, although I know in his case it was out of college)?
