Latest on Dadonov: Somehow, on trade call from Ottawa to Vegas (a team Dadonov could not block), Golden Knights and NHL were led to believe protection had expired/not filed properly. But, there is correspondence proving no-trade paperwork filed correctly (and on-time) June 30.

The best thing about the playoffs is they’re going to be playing with house money for the most part. No pressure. Obviously losses will sting, but this is only year one of this and many more to go. Should make it easier. Like if they’re up in a series the pressure will clearly be on the other team.

Like Torontos first year when they finished their rebuild. Hopefully we have better success they’ve had after that tho
