Him and Frost are 23 right now. They need to be on the roster at this point. Both are unlikely to be NHL players if they cant play the 3rd line at 24 years old. We are also talking 3rd line production. If Tippet scores 20 on the 3rd line in a season, thats a great year. It has been one game but you can tell by the way he plays he has the skills to be an NHL player.

Konecny is a luxury at this point. He's too much for the 3rd line and we got too many guys for the top 6. Go with the a young 3rd line and let them figure it out. Its crazy seeing the same people crying about frost not being on the team are the same people saying Tippett shouldnt. They are the same age and both in the same situation.

Again, you're talking about this guy scoring 20-goals on the 3rd-line and he hasn't scored a single goal yet. And you're talking about a guy with multiple 20-goals seasons under his belt being a "luxury" to a team that has trouble scoring goals. The logic just doesn't work out.

Yes, Tippett should be in the lineup. Yes, he should be playing as much as possible, as high up in the lineup as possible. But no, that does not mean TK should be the odd man out.

The Flyers could and should if it earns them an asset. Dadonov just can't play in the POs if he's traded after the deadline. He could still suit up for the final x number of regular season games, tho.

He's got a 10-team no trade list he submitted to Ottawa that everybody knew about (it's listed plainly on Capfriendly) but Vegas just forgot about it after they traded for him lol. If it's only 10-teams, I doubt the Flyers are on it. But who knows.

Getting rid of Konecny? That would be smart. He would love to get away, I am sure. But we do not exactly have a surfeit of fast, stickhandling players with high skills. In Carolina or Florida, he is a 30+ goal scorer a year. Put this idea in the "careful, you might get what you ask for category.

I didnt say he would score 20. I said if he did it would be fantastic. 10-15 would be good.

Logic is fine. We struggle to score goals because we are missing big pieces to our team. Couturier is a huge loss offensively. Hayes has missed half the season. Part of the reason we struggle to score goals is BECAUSE Konecny isnt scoring goals. he has a whopping 10 goals which isnt good enough for a guy expected to pot 20-25.

The rest comes down to having rostered an AHL team most of this year.
