Lindblom has no business in the top 6 IMO, and Tippet should be in the top 6 for sure. But no matter how you slice it, this group of forwards is no where good enough. There is no high end talent in this group. My hope is the Flyers get such a player picking high in this draft and maybe that with a player from their system like Foerster they can get closer. - jd250
So Lindblom, who is an established NHL player has no business in the top 6 but Tippett, who is not an established NHL player should be? Can't make it up.

Well actually Chuck Fletcher admitted to major things this season: 1. This team does not have the right personnel on the power play, no ability to score from the flank and 2. they lack high-end talent. These statements came from the GM himself, so that is pretty clear what Fletcher will be trying to obtain this off season.
TK is just not good enough. He skates around a lot, but can't finish a play. Farabee is a good complimentary player, but he is not a sniper or a true finisher. Atkinson can finish occasionally but he is not what I would consider a pure sniper either. We'll see what Tippet becomes and some of the kids coming up like Foerster and Brink. But right now I would say this is the number one area Fletcher has to address. - jd250
And the soft wussyass philly media should’ve immediately asked fletch well if you don’t have the high end talent how you gonna get it being you’re capped out and signed coots risto trade for Ellis and using aggressive retool not gonna move players |

Fletcher” none of us anticipated us being here, we thought we had a good team”
Ummm k. I for one said you’d suck. How can you look at this roster and think it’s good. Even if healthy it’s average at best most likely below average bottom 10 team.
Do they not see the teams they play? Management neglect having these dinosaurs running team |

Hopefully he gets 100 goals and is +35 his first 4 years of that lumber of a deal. - THE EVIL WITHIN
Nope hopefully he plays like poop stay away from drafting in that 10 range. |

I agree with him.
We know what Oscar HAS done. He’s a nice bottom 6 player that sure can fill in top 6 here and there for a bit. Nice player to have depending on contract of course.
You can substitute any player that is unknown with skill like Tippett to see what they do.
I don’t think he’s saying Tippett definitely is the answer or is even better than Oscar or actually deserve long term to be top 6. |

If healthy where would they be. Go check standings. Let me know. I’m very curious to who they’d be knocking down the standings

I made that statement and it is factually true. Also you should go back and read the statement. The statement was out of the Flyers regular defenseman. That does not include Connauton and Seeler. Out of the 5 regular Flyers defenseman, only Yandle is worse defensively that Ristolainen.
You have a bad habit of getting comments made by me incorrect. - MJL
Sorry, I will admit that I do not have the time to fully analyze every post. Yours alone in one day would take me more time than I can spare. As for getting things incorrect, the only thing I recall being incorrect about (according to you) was our discussion about Stewart (my comment about him had nothing to do with you btw). I agree with all your other points about the Org and the team except Risto. They were horrible defensively last year, so they got Risto and Ellis in hopes that they would improve. It didn't work out as planned and it's unfortunate.
I am sorry I don't memorize every one of your posts but can you tell me what they should have done to address last seasons defense issues? Who would you have brought in for this year?

Hahahahaahahaaha
Bruins 83 points
Caps 80 points
poopty philly 51 points
You think if healthy they’d be 15 more wins on season better to make those points up? And that’s just to this point in season with still another quarter of season to go.
I don’t me to be a Richard but if you honestly believe that with all your heart and knowledge there’s no helping you. And I mean no offense at all by that. |

Hayes and Couts played many of the games that they did play in while injured, and were virtually ineffective in those games. They have lost 17 one goal games....not getting blown out most of the time. Ellis changes the whole dynamic with the defense. Got it? Good!!

You recently accused me of not criticizing any other defenseman except for Ristolainen. You posted that shortly after I had just made a post criticizing Sanheim for making two errors on the game tying goal in the Montreal game.
So maybe refrain from accusing someone of something if you don't know the facts.

I’ll also add this point… look at standings not on our division or conference but the whole league. Look at the teams around us and just above us.
Obviously we are not even remotely close to the really good teams and teams that are still just good like Florida Carolina tb Calgary avs etc look around. They teams around us and just above us most have young elite talent or very high end young talent. Aren’t capped out with aging long term deals. Ottawa buffalo detroit Anaheim devils Vancouver just on and on light years ahead of us and gonna be force in near future. Or at minimum have the chance and good chance for that
We rolling with some old coots cam players like risto tk Oscar etc.
Dahlin
Cozens
Zegras
Hughes
Hughes
Heiskanen
Larkin
Raymond
Seider
Thachuk
Chabot
Stutzle
Petterson
I mean just too many to even list.
Thinking we’re more than bottom 10 at best with this roster is ridiculous actually
Hart
Bee
York
Tippett?
Forester?
O’Brien?
Brink?
We have some chances at maybe some good players |

Grant scored 2 last night. ( I always liked him better than Lame Thompson) just 3 goals behind 7mill JVR. And now another dumped guy on TV Justin Williams |

You’re avoiding the question, per usual. Who that was available would you have brought in? If you don’t have an answer then you should probably stop flinging sh!t at other posters’ responses |

Ellis ???
Are we talking Ryan Ellis?
Maybe you should turn another game on. He’s a nice decent top pair 1b dman.
He’s not Weber. He’s not Josi. Or Hughes or makar or Hamilton or Carlson or many other.
How many of those 1 goal games you were watching did you notice clearly far superior team taking night off? Turn Carolina tb on tonight. I bet you whatever you want Carolina doesn’t play and look like they when they played us a few weeks ago. If you think because philly lost a bunch 1 goal games means much don’t know what to tell you. Watching most of those games teams played backup goalies against us and played down.
And you think these other teams don’t have injuries? Pacs out stone out kuch out marner out on and on
Our average players being out means little very little |

Again, talking about Ellis changing the dynamic of the defense. They looked good in the 3 games he played and he makes Provorov much better. Why do you keep saying OUR when you are obviously a Penwhines fan in disguise? |
