Less than a minute later he’s out there with Tippett and Lindblom. On one shift Konency, Farabee and Tippett are out there together.

He didn't go up the boards. He should've. He had two options. One was an immediate over to Sanheim as soon as he got the puck. Watch where Sanheim went. No doubt that Sanheim called for the puck. Ristolainen hesitated on that. He then hesitated on sending it up the boards then tried again to reverse and got easily knocked off the puck. When doubt, the safer play is to always send the puck up the wall, off the glass and away from the net.
The other issue is again a turnover at the opposition blueline. A bad line change and lack of forward support.
