I jotted down the Forwards into a lineup, but I only had 10. Then I realized I had forgotten JVR. Clearly, my bad and not because he wasn’t noticeable. - NC Flyers Fan
Understandable. I think most of us have forgotten JVR plays for this team on most nights. |

The hell is Sanheim doing there...... - xShoot4WarAmpsx
That’s what I was wondering. Where’d he go? |

Oh we didnt bring anyone up. Forgot Mayhew was grabbed - xShoot4WarAmpsx
I don’t know the rules but I think they have limited recalls left, if that makes sense. |

Yandle is having a ok game. Chuck may resign him based on the analytics. |

Only allowed 4 call ups after the trade deadline. They already used two for AHL clear day.

But he can skate. That defensive stuff is overrated. |

You recently accused me of not criticizing any other defenseman except for Ristolainen. You posted that shortly after I had just made a post criticizing Sanheim for making two errors on the game tying goal in the Montreal game.
So maybe refrain from accusing someone of something if you don't know the facts. - MJL
I do not recall the Sanheim discussion, but if I said you don't criticize anyone except Risto, I apologize as you do criticize the others. I assume I was alluding to the fact that your criticism of Risto is endless and relentless while pretty much the whole team is awful. At the end of the day, is it going to change anything?
Again, the Flyers had to fill a need on defense as ours was one of the worst in the league last year. They picked up Risto and Ellis, thinking it would fill their needs. What do you suggest they should have done? Who would you have on D?

Nice turnover by Ristolainen. Mistake #3 of the game leading to a goal. Sanheim and Ristolainen need to figure out who is covering who. Not like they just started playing together. |

The only thing I try to forget is, we traded him away just in time for his prime years and brought him back once those years were over. |

Exactly. Without fail every Risto mistake has a MJL rip attached to it. Sanheim makes a mistake, rarely gets mentioned. Even Yandle doesnt get ripped as much as Ristolainen.

You fail to realize that Ristolainen is an often discussed player. I don't often start the conversation but join in. Perhaps if Ristolainen gave me less material to work with, I wouldn't have to criticize him so often. It's not endless and relentless. It's simply factual.
They did have to fill a need. They picked the wrong players and I had issues with both moves before they even played a game.

Farabee taking draws. MacEwen and Tippett defending on the ice together. Connauton, Seeler and Yandle alternating, who’s on first? There isceuther a lot of coaching on the beach or a lot of “get out there and let’s see what happens “. |

we can always go back to ripping the idiot that admitted that he overpaid to trade for him, then resigned him for 5 more years |

You are incorrect on all counts. Remember the tying goal in the Montreal game? I supported Ristolainen and criticized Sanheim for making two mistakes on the play.
Get your facts straight. Look in the mirror and realize that when you have to criticize me instead of the actual comments. Perhaps that's because your comment isn't on solid ground.

I never said Risto was well worth 5 million. I had very mixed feelings about him being resigned...period. - Phillywhiteout
My bad. That was warx giving his examples yesterday |

So who would you have put on d, given who was available? Do you even have an answer? You can only sign players that are available.

That was his only play. The Flyers were changing along the boards. Couldnt send it up his side.

I don’t hate him as much as you because I do Recognize he can stay on his skates most nights but you do have to ask what he’s learned on Buffalo for so many years. |

Yea not looking good tonight after a decent showing on Sunday. I am still interested to see how they play over the remaining games.

Thats not my argument. Any time Ristolainen franks up you are on him like white on rice. No other player get that much hate from you.
