Come on, I'm not saying something that extreme. Risto's is a good player, not a great player. He has his faults and makes mistakes like every other player. However the bottom line is is playing on bad teams that have poor possession and poor defensive structure has certainly played a significant part of Risto's "poor" analytics and has hurt his development as a player. You just can't discount this factor.

However the ONLY reason you said this is because of your belief that Fletcher is a poor GM and he would get fleeced on the trade. I read all the articles and reports about the potential trading of G and NOT one of them stated Florida was the only team involved, not a single one! You NEVER stated that Florida was the only team because you also had no idea! It was not reported until after the trade happened, and most likely was leaked by the Flyers to explain why Fletcher did not get what he should have got for a player like G. Don't confuse things. I am referring here to the report AFTER the trade that Florida was the only team G was willing to go to, NOT a leak that let Florida know this well in advance.
