Guarantee it includes trading two of those picks they acquired at the deadline with JVR to some team in another Ghost special |

Come on, I'm not saying something that extreme. Risto's is a good player, not a great player. He has his faults and makes mistakes like every other player. However the bottom line is is playing on bad teams that have poor possession and poor defensive structure has certainly played a significant part of Risto's "poor" analytics and has hurt his development as a player. You just can't discount this factor. - jd250
If this were true, then how do you account for Sanheim having terrific numbers while being on the same pair w/ Risto?
How about Dahlin having good numbers despite playing behind the same sad sack Buffalo teams?

Dragging young children lol. Flying private to Florida for 3 months, the horror. - ClaudeFather
90 days in paradise when they could be in Rittenhouse square worried about being carjacked. I hope they can get some therapy to deal with the mental anguish of that existence. And their poor kids. Daily trips to the beach. Someone should call child protection services. |

So now after being challenged on your previous statements you're waffling again. Pretty much everyone knew for a couple of weeks that it was going to be Florida. It was well rumored. Myself and numerous other posters tried to tell you what the return was going to be like. - MJL
You are such a fraud its just off the charts! Yes you were telling me and others that the return for G would not be that good and we would be disappointed. However the ONLY reason you said this is because of your belief that Fletcher is a poor GM and he would get fleeced on the trade. I read all the articles and reports about the potential trading of G and NOT one of them stated Florida was the only team involved, not a single one! You NEVER stated that Florida was the only team because you also had no idea! It was not reported until after the trade happened, and most likely was leaked by the Flyers to explain why Fletcher did not get what he should have got for a player like G. So just stop embarrassing yourself even more now. |

I say it tongue in cheek but always a possibility.
either he has an injury that has baffled medical professionals world wide or the flyers are just incompetent.
Which is more likely... - hello it's me 2050
Both given the history....
And I still blame the previous coaches for the multitude of core injuries.
If you know people in the game ask about Michel Therien skating people on days off when he coached the Pens. |

OK, you're right and most of the NHL GMs, scouts, coaches and analytics departments are completely wrong. |

Yes, I did tell you that and like many others. I told you it would be a first pick, a decent prospect or young NHL player and another lesser asset. Everyone told you that. Yet you kept harping on Newhook and Lundell. No matter how many people pointed out the obvious to you. You were the only one apparently who didn't know it was going to be Florida. LOL Myself and others knew that not because of anything having to do with Fletcher but having to do with simple history.
Someone who isn't right about anything at any time has no credibility to label anyone a fraud or to tell someone they're embarrassing themselves. |

Don't confuse things. I am referring here to the report AFTER the trade that Florida was the only team G was willing to go to, NOT a leak that let Florida know this well in advance. |

I just want to know what numbers you are looking at, that's all. Because the numbers I look at say Sanheim and Risto are about the same. For example, just taking the last 3 games played, here are some numbers that I consider:
SANHEIM RISTO
SAT-F 59 62
SAT-A 75 77
CF% 43.6 44
CREL% -3.2 -2.5
AvgTOI 21 22
HITS 2 6

Yes, I wanted the Flyers to make a deal for Newhook or Lundell, because these players have the potential to be top centers for years to come. I wanted multiple teams bidding, I wanted G to extend with the teams and I wanted the Flyers to throw in other players to make the deal happen, for example one proposal was to trade both G and Risto to Colorado for Newhook. I never, ever posted that I expected the Flyers to get either player for just G as a rental. Its just more fraudulent banter from you creating false narratives about other posters. How small and insignificant you are ... |

I don't have to share anything, everything is there for you to read if you actually cared to. Whether you know it or not, you are in the complete minority in terms of your view of Risto compared to the rest of the hockey community. |

If it doesn't turn around significantly next season Fletcher will be fired, so who are you looking at as the next GM of this team? |

If you truly believe what you say about Risto, then everyone else who actually has a job in the NHL is completely wrong and really have no idea how to evaluate, develop and coach players. Because apparently, only some people on this forum and the entire free analytics community think Risto is a bad player and a loser. |

You didn't post what you wanted. You were making baseless predictions as well as putting way too much weight on the move and how important it was in the big picture of the Flyers future. You were wrong on every aspect as normal
