They're fast and they score a fawkton of goals but they got a mediocre goalie and I honestly think there D is dogs&t (big, slow and no depth)

The Johnsons, Girard, McDermid, Murray, (Byrams - injury prone) aint winning you no Cup. They're like the Leafs IMO - heavily dependant on filling the net and hoping for the best on D, night in night out.

Dermott seems to have played a nice solid, but low event game. Had some nice defensive plays, where he tied up sticks and had good positioning.
It was only 2 period of my viewing, but 1st impression was decent.

I see the Av’s as keep up to them & not let them freewheel & you can beat them. They don’t seem to have the overall character to overcome teams that come to play when it will come to the PO’s. No Landeskog hurts.

There is only 1 skeptic thinking a 3rd is worth more.

A versatile 25yr old proven NHL D for 1.5m is quite fine. Those not knowing depth is important & we sorely need it like the Juulsen’s of the world to be plugs. This offseason we can hope D gets deeper so Hunt can be a scratch.

From what I've seen over the last couple of seasons he's a good Dman. He'll fit in nicely once he settles in. Also, my phone would've blown up with mocking texts if it were otherwise. Most of my Leaf fan buddies liked him.

Bo is terrible, not sure why coach Boudreau puts him out killing penalties, or late in tight games, on both offense and defense.
Pouty has more points than him, albeit in more games played, and is only making 2 million more than him.

Give Pouty a raise, this is crazy how he is massively outscoring Bo and looks so much better than Bo on the penalty kill.
