Thank goodness for this new management group headed up by JR, so glad that he had the balls to hire 3 women to the group, unlike a couple of posters in here. - Makita
I get all that stuff yesterday, but don’t think the ranger should be back in the cave poking the bear to see if it’s awake. Hockey talk!
Now how about Alvin scooping up Whiskey drinking Brad from the Mighty Flames? Canucks tired of them stealing all their scraps.

Is 37 year old Brad Richardson a better option? - 1970vintage
Sadly yes. Why would a non prospect plug be better than a depth C who wins 58.7% of FO’s? One skill vs none. |

You have had a few favorite posters over the years but you seem to make them vanish .
I am going to be serious . Should you still be the mod if you are hanging out with a certain group from here and ban other groups only? Maybe time to retire and let an unbias person take over?
Last week big argument and only ones banned are Betmanhatesus and Booner. None of your pals were banned. |

Any capologists out there?
Is there any scenario where the Canucks can carve out enough cap space to fit the Halak bonus into this year? Like, could they run a 20 man roster, send down guys like Podkolzin and Höglander etc. - 1970vintage
Good Q. I do know LTIR cannot be used for bonuses. As for cap space & the LTIR space used rules that go hand in hand is a deep topic. The Leaf blog has ppl who know this better than anyone on HB. |

Remember Yanic Pearault? Man, that guy was a faceoff beast who put up a lot of 20 goal seasons. I'd love it if we had a 3rd line centre like him. |

So far only three posters have tried to bait me . Slow day.
In the end I will be labeled the trouble maker.
Amazing how many want to get me going and I want nothing to do with them |

In order for the Canucks to pay that bonus, they would have to get the cap number down to 80 million, or thereabouts, which means about 6 million(thanks Benning), needs to come off the cap.
Sending guys down is one way, another way is to make a seldom done post-deadline trade. The player traded would be ineligible for playoffs, but could help a team get into them, or if it was a non-playoff team he would just carry on as is.
Not sure if they could get enough room by trading anyone with a caphit of less than6 million, so that limits them to 3 defenseman and 1 forward. |

I just read that any trades now the player would not be able to play regular season or playoff games.

Some guy on Twitter.
Many people think the NHL Trade Deadline is a Trade Deadline. It’s not. Players can still be traded after the Trade Deadline. However, traded players cannot play in any regular season and/or playoff games this season with the acquiring team.

I am aware of that.
With me he was just baiting me as Prez . He has his own views as BettmanHU on certain things. Even if I believe or don't believe in Vaxxing or Truck rallies people should be able to speak their peace. I know there is another thread for that but what is the difference of talking politics , music or food on a hockey site or whether someone posts Moby Richard or talks politics.
I just scroll past the ones I don't want to read.
Also some same people in here also had him as their best friend when he was baiting me and now have him as public enemy number one. |

Pick the best one single on ice factor that keeps us out of the PO’s?
I’ll pick mine later after others give their answer. |
