I guess you missed "The fourth line will obviously be much improved when both Zucker and McGinn come back. In the meantime I would consider Drew O’Connor instead of Boyle, but odds are they just roll Boyle out there for now." |

hahaha 100%...focused too much on the line combos he wrote |

Agreed though. Send Z down. Call up DOC or pustinen. Even Angelo at least provides a spark that I’d rather see over Z.
I think we assume rakell starts with malkin. Just a question of who plays on the right side. |

I'm not as enamored with Z as some are. I do like his game as a 13th forward, but a mainstay. DOC, even though his scoring dried up, was still bringing a lot on both sides of the ice. |

I think he had a good start when he first got called up but even his wbs numbers are pretty crappy this year. |

The offense for Zohorna hasn't been there this season, but he has been extremely good defensively. DOC is a better option and I'm shocked he isn't up here now, but Z still brings it. |

There's nothing wrong with Z's game. I just don't think there's the potential for him to be much more than he is now and maybe that's unfair because in terms of NHL experience he's a baby, but there's nothing that he does that jumps out to me.
DOC on the other hand has parts of his game that you see on occasion and think wow, if he keeps this up, he's really going to explode. You see his speed, his ability to drive the net, the instinctual decisions he makes and that jumps out to me in a way that says he has a lot more room to grow. Maybe not a top-six guy, but he screams solid middle-six winger potential IMO and you can't have enough of those on cheap contracts. |

I would agree with keeping Rust with Malkin. I think Rackell will be fine as the 3rd wheel but not the primary winger. ERod or maybe Zucker with Sid and Jake, who play well with anyone. |

I'd rather see DOC too, but Zohorna is the one with the team so guess that's what we get. |

DOC reminds me of the kind of promise the WB5 brought up with them in 2015. He’s obviously still raw and probably shouldn’t be anything more than a 4th liner right now, but you can see that there’s something there. I’m not saying that he’s the next Bryan Rust and that he’ll develop into a top line winger, but I could definitely see him being a middle six winger in the near future if Sullivan gives him tick. |

I’d still like to see nylander called up. |

I like the idea of double shifting crosby and benching malkin. |

Agree whole heartedly. He has 3rd line wing written all over him. PPG at the AHL level and had success up here before the injury. He is a full time NHL'er next season. |

Even Center. He looked awesome the few times he played Center. He's got that ability to be a solid utility guy who can jump all over the place.

Forgot he was playing there too. Could easily see him on Carter's LW next season though. They will need guys like him and maybe Nylander/Puustinen to make the jump. Can't afford to be active in FA with our own needing new contracts. |

Is rakell confirmed playing with Malkin? Setting lineups. You’re in good shape, I’ve been hot |
