Ves has not exactly lit it up with Moose in his stints there.

Ok, got over my rant from yesterday and now ready to go tonight. All I ask is for our team is to skate, hit, shoot, pass and out-work the Sens. Big stretch of games for the Jets, nothing games for the Sens.

With a stretch of games against non-playoff teams, it is basically "now or never" for the Jets.

I'm kind of thinking Vesalainen has run of chances with the Jets. Always hear from Kevin Sawyer "he has a wicked shot." Maybe, he's just never scored with it at the NHL level. Needs to get himself in better scoring openings. Glad to see the Jets re-signed Reichel, improving every game when healthy.

Optimistic going into tonight's game - what 6-2 Jets? Helle is back, guys!

Small sample size but Reichel impressed me, he looks ready or damn close.

Our D next year;
Morrissey
Pionk
Schmidt
Dillon
DeMelo
Stanley
Samburg
Heinola
Chislom

Now if someone other than Huddy was coaching them that could be ok actually

I agree, although I think we still might need the big horse back there, but that could come from within the system, perhaps?

Nice to have Stanley, with Heinola, Samberg, Chisholm and Gawanke waiting to step up. But new coaches next year, new ideas/systems hopefully!

Jets were going nowhere with cement-head Lowry as coach. Very poor choice by Chevy/Chipman.

Might as well start fresh with an entirely new coaching staff next year.

Looking forward to the draft.

I agree, that is the third coach Chevy has picked and the tam looks terrible. Maybe it is his time to move on also. Three games in a row with periods of grossly lopsided shot/play and the team not matching the intensity of the opponent getting badly outworked. We play 2 on 1’s terribly and don’t get the pass nearly often enough.

Wanted: New coach, assistants, GM and president.

The good times are all gone.
