That was his agent Pat Brisson actually.
And to be fair, it was kinda ridiculous that he dropped all the way to #15. - Scabeh
cause he's a small, one dimensional perimeter player who needs to be spoon fed one timers on the powerplay |

the league had nothing to do with the mishap. - Gramps28
meh, there are people working for the league that are supposed to be verifying this sort of thing, it wouldn't have created such a debacle if they were on top of things.

I know, couldn't believe it either. Detroit picking Seider (which was obviously now a great choice) and Florida going for Spencer Knight opened up some possibilities...but I was sure Philadelphia was going to pick him up right in front of us.
That draft felt like Bergevin's longest walk and speeches of all time. Then they brought Shea Weber... |

Sean Farrell's season is over, Harvard just go eliminated.
He can now sign an NHL contract, but I'd leave him in the NCAA for another season. - stinger67
I expect he will stay another year in the NCAA, he needs to mature physically, best place for him to do so |

Just read that Harvard has a lot of guys turning pro next season, so Farrell should have a bigger role next season. |

Ottawa submitted the paperwork with errors it seems
NHL should just take away the 1st round pick this year and be done with it, seems fair. - Symba007
The funny thing is that Stone and Martinez were ready to be activated but since the trade didn't work they suffered a setback in their injury?

Was it? Kucherov dropped to the second round after putting up the most points in U18 tournament history. Gaudreau fell to the fourth despite being undeniably talented. The fact that a guy under 5'7 got picked in the first is insane. |

Remember that video of a bar in Philly with people chanting Caufield's name?
I started believing when Vancouver and Phoenix went Podkolzin and Soderstrom back to back.

Well it just shows you how dumb people still are in the NHL.
Unless you believed Caufield's success was 100% because of Jack Hughes, why in the hell wouldn't you grab the kid with the insane shot that scores more than Auston Matthews?
