The central teams can all go about .500 the rest of the way and still make it (Col, Nash, Min). Jets and Knights are basically in the same spot as Canucks, locked in the trunk of a car.

He doesn’t become a UFA until mid august after completing his senior year, so from the end of the hockey season there’s plenty of time to reach an agreement, if that’s what they want to do.
