I mean, who are they kidding, yeah Petey was good last night but that belt belongs in Demko’s hands 99% of the time. |

That is sort of the point of the belt. Bouds was talking about it not necessarily being the "best" player that night (think he even mentioned it'd be Demko's most nights), but the sort of catalyst player or unsung hero for the game.
Seems like the boys are enjoying it. Probably even more without wet blanket Hamonic there |

I see they handed the Oilers their ass last night. Minor blip. |

I watched it, ugly display of defence and goaltending, kinda reminded me of an 80’s game. Lots of offence though. Draisaitl is arguably the best player in the world. |

Draisaitl is a great offensive player but man best in the world?
Was a great game to watch but that Oiler D left the Flames wide open in the slot all night, 9 even strength goals.
Game was rough, Kane was invisible, hmm, coincidence? |

One game does not make a season, Draisaitl is really good defensively as well on a team that struggles with that side of the game. The Oilers goaltending is just awful, embarrassingly awful. A decent NHL goaltender should’ve stopped at least four of the goals Calgary scored. |

Not sure any goalie would have stopped those shots. The Oiler D is the real problem, Flames we’re wide open with lots of time in the slot. Nurse is not a 9 mil player at least not last night.
Tkachuk is a beast, wreaking havoc all game. Thanks Jim!
Someone needs to suck it, oh wait, he’s banned. |

Didn’t Hamonic get the belt at one point? Like I’m sure some players in there disliked him for being anti-vaxx and held it against him(hence the report) but I don’t think he was this cancer personality like most make him out to be. |

Just cause he wasn't well liked doesn't make him a cance. Could have just been a personality that wears on you. |

I really think it was mainly the anti-vaxx thing that made him unpopular with some teammates.

I think it has to be more than just that? It's one thing to be anti-vax, another thing to be really not well liked in the room that they're happy when you leave. Maybe he really pushed it in there? Or he was very opinionated about the convoy? Maybe he was our Lordy |
