This must be some kind of cosmic payback for laughing at the Flyers while we enjoyed nearly two decades of a franchise goalie.

I hear it through the tv. It’s not just the long words but the crazy high pitch and thin annoying voice that goes all over. Of course social media voted for him. Was there visuals of him too? I wonder what the demographic was of who voted for him, what percentage were under 21. We were spoiled before. We went from a man to a child doing the announcing.

Yeah, I’ve even seen other teams fans comment on how terrible our PA announcer is. It’s brutal.

Luke Hughes will be fun. He’ll be entering our group at a similar time to the younger Makar joining MacKinnon and company. We just need to make that right move going forward to solidify the top 6. Forsberg would be a prize and the answer at LW.
But heck Sharangoalvich may have his answer playing with Hughes. Gotta remember it’s just his 2nd season. Mercer is a rookie and could be a top 6 winger vs C. We’re in a weird spot where it’s hard to say because the kids are so young still.

It rips my soul out. One could argue we wouldn’t have gotten Hischier or Hughes if we picked one of those guys.. but I’d it’s Rantanen I almost don’t care. Whole thing delayed the rebuild though.

Would only want Forsberg as our last option based on how much he's going to get overpaid(id rather give Gaudreau 9M+ than give Forsberg 8M+ which he will get in FA), but yeah would be nice to get an actual top 6 or top line winger. One of Johnsson/Tatar(probably Johnsson) will be gone this offseason as well as Zacha too. I think it's pretty much guaranteed we definitely add a winger, just depends on who it is, which is why I'm way more interested in what we do in net. It's the end all, be all of the offseason imo.
