Some still treating the young man as a rapist I see?

I fear this might never go away.

Surely not.

...but you can't let social justice warriors run your team.

Also, the new management aren't the ones who drafted him, they should get the benefit of doubt on how they want to handle this. I think they should/will get more leeway from fans.

If they decide to trade him, I'm fine with it...but maximize the return.

And when I say fans, I mean mostly people who suddenly care about hockey

and there are the others to which there wouldn't be a real good answer because they just feel the need to tell you they are angry.

and that is certainly not now. maybe in a few years, let him play junior hockey. then will see.
but I'd keep him.

he only played 12 games this year, he is injured. He did very well in the games he played, 9pts (3g6a), +7. He needs to play but so far it looks really good in terms of hockey if he can healthy.

Defenceman Logan Mailloux is considering surgery to repair an injured shoulder and has likely played his last game of the 2021-22 Ontario Hockey League season. The team says the Montreal Canadiens first-rounder is out indefinitely after listing him as day-to-day for a few weeks in the hope that his return was imminent.

yep. let him play 2 more seasons in junior, he'll dominate, his stock will rise.
I would definitively keep him. why trade him? to please who exactly?

They need to sign him at the end of next season, or he goes back in the draft.

I think the uproar will start a millisecond after he signs that contract.
