Nah we’ve known since November they wouldn’t make the playoffs lol, i believe it’s more like this:

16. Montreal Canadiens - E(lated about the future and still living rent free in the Leafs’ heads)

Dvorak had a great game yesterday.

Something like over 75% on faceoffs, won the last one when it mattered most and then made that great pass to Pitlick on the tying goal.

There is hope for D-Vo on this team!

He's played very well as of late. If...if we happen to get Wright or Cooley in the draft, I think he makes a great 2/3 center depending on line assignments as the new kid develops, assuming this is how he can actually play game to game.

what about the roomer that Patrice Bergeron and/or Letang could sign with the Habs this summer...

I have accepted the Habs will move up in the standings and land the 4th or 5th pick. Slavkofky, Nemec or Lambert will land in MTL

Why would either?

Also Letang on anything over a 3-4 year deal screams disaster for any team.

I guess anything is possible... but both are going to decline some where in there newest contracts and to me they just don't fit the window of contention this team appears to be heading to. Personally, I wouldn't touch them unless they're h coming here at a hometown discount and I really can't imagine that happening. We've still got a few veteran forwards and dmen. Stay the course.

not saying I agree with the roomer, why would they sign with MTL and what terms would it take? Both players should finish their career with their respective team IMO

The only way Letang makes sense is if Petry leaves before.

I don't see Bergeron leaving the Bruins. As for Letang, I think he'll just go to the highest bidder regardless. I think the Habs should stay away at this time.

probably, I think the roomer comes from some journalist who think because Hughes was their agent, they would be open to sign with MTL...dumb conclusion.

Bergeron would be awesome to teach the kids a few things but odds of it happening without stupid contract terms are what....0.00006%?

Can the Pens afford to lose him? He's done a very good job at being indispensable.

A 1-2-3 of Bergeron-Suzuki-Wright would be pretty cool.

Wrong Again Hains. Leafs were simply looking ahead to their HUGE match up with the Cats, who they demolished

As for the roomers, i dont buy Bergeron leaving Boston at all. Letang though? I can see him living Pittsburgh as they are bound to stop a reset of sorts soon, but i doubt we’ll want to throw enough money his way to come here. Time will tell

Pittsburgh won't start a reset as long as Crosby, Malkin and Letang can carry them to the playoffs imo.

Agreed.

Letang wants another cup, if he wants to help with a rebuild, he can do that in Pittsburgh when they eventually decide to do it.
