We had a debate that followed on from this - would your trade Miller, Petterson, OR Horvat for Crosby + >$4m retained by Pitts. There might be a few additions on the deal but the key pieces are mentioned. It is an interesting debate.

Considering Aqua-man is in denial about a rebuild, and so your hands are tied by his dellusions would you do it..

Until Aqua-man realised he can't short circuit the rebuild process in the cap era this team and any management is doomed to mediocrity...

Its a symptom of not having the right players at the right stages of their career. So you have to make some choices: Trade 2 of 4: Horvat, Miller, Boeser, Petersson Take the best that comes out of a couple of younger roster players and a couple of 1st round picks. The cap issue is over and the players and their career trajectories are syc'ed up. It isn't that hard to know what has to be done.
