He keeps saying the same crap over and over about Juolevi. There were always concerns about his ability to pivot way back to his junior days before the draft.

If Benning wouldn’t have taken him 5th overall, after falling in love with him for one tournament, he would’ve went mid to late first round. And still been a bust.

- LeftCoaster

I need minivan here to confirm it, but im pretty sure you and a few of us were all complimenting his skating at the world juniors during his draft year

then his knee/hip injuries began and he was never the same skater again

read scouting reports from back then, almost all of them rate skating as one of his strengths, and they obviously weren't talking about straight line speed because he was never a burner, he was a smooth skating dman

I watched him get blown by in the Young Guns Tourney in Penticton, couldn’t figure out what Benning saw in him.

True story. After the Kesler/Burrows years we needed to move on from the whole 'rat' thing. So glad we passed on Tkachuk. Can't predict how Juolevi would have went at the time based off his stud WHL status he was a solid pick. Funny story at Memorial Cup here you could hear Juolevi's teammates razzing him about being drafted by the Oilers...suffice to say he wasn't too happy about it lol

lol hilarious. When the Flames were Struggling awhile back and Tkachuk had requested a trade to STL the fans couldn't get rid of him soon enough. See what happens when Tkachuk and Johnny Hockey are playing in the States. lol

Halak's hissy fit worked. Players still run the room
- Nucker101

Or the coach told him if you want to play more, prove you are capable in your next start and he went and did it. This could be coach giving him a cookie.

Why wouldn't it work? Miller throws 5 or 6 a game, gets a pat on the back and 1st line minutes.

I’m waiting for Miller to spill his chocolate milk at the bench and then huff down the tunnel with his blanky.

The lack of respect towards our best player by this fanbase is pretty pathetic. Having the best season by a Canucks forward in 11 years but (frank) him because he complains about our entitled young players. I hope he leaves and wins a cup.

Lol, whatever dude, you are likely the least respectful person in the universe, so getting a lecture from you doesn’t really encourage anyone to change their ways.

Being the “best” player doesn’t make anyone deserving of respect. If that was the case, you would keep your yap shut more and cheer for Boeser and Petey and Hughes more.

I don’t cheer for soft entitled players that don’t compete hard. Elias has finally shown up but Boeser hasn’t won a battle all season. I’m the least respectful person in the universe? How did you come to this conclusion? I mean I’m flattered but I doubt it’s true

Article on NHL dot com about Vegas hoping Lehner and Stone will be back soon enough to help them win a wild card/division playoff spot. How the hell are they going to fit that under the cap?

The only fanbase that wants to move their best player with 1.5 years left on his deal on pace for 100 points and three points out of a WC spot.

Absolutely love this stuff but there should be a way to blame Benning somehow and somewhere down the line...

Film at 11.

Team spent 5-6 years trying to shed the Burrows/Kesler dive bite hair pull image and you are saying that not drafting a player that replaces that image makes folks angry? Not me anyways lol don't need any more of those clowns in the room. Team is doing just fine with Boudreau last thing we need is another goof in the lineup. Team is soft enough as is.

Shed? That was the best team the Canucks have ever iced. Incredibly hard to play against. I would kill for a team like that today.

Ville Husso, blues goalie, has some crazy numbers. Going to be a war just to get a goal or two. Good luck boys!
