I would probably prefer tampa over the alternatives as well.

And interesting prediction. I can totally see that happening.

I don't know... been 2 years since TB lost a playoff series. They can ramp it up as good as any team in the NHL when post-season starts.

Head-head matchups during the regular season don't really mean all that much.

Fair point. Of all the teams, I would want the one that has the greatest potential to be overconfident. (potentially).

No matter what though, it will likely be a tough first round.

They still have the top end players but they lost very key players that allowed them to ramp it up in the playoffs. Goodrow, Gourde, Coleman are all pretty significant post season depth pieces that they are missing. Hagel, Colton, Perry, Bellmare and Nick Paul are far less intimidating.

They did. I haven't followed him but he has 3 goals in 3 games against the Bruins this year.

Only saw highlights.
What I gather, Clifton needs a rest. Sounds like a few missed opportunities off the iron and Tor capitalized on some sloppy play.

Not at all impressed with the officiating. 4-1 game, you decide not to call the board on Hall but you penalize him instead to make the game 5-1.
Yet you call Pasta in the 1st for a board. Refs are never held accountable. #HotGarbage

League needs to fix it. Fine those bozos $5000 for incompetence!

I get it. Hall deserves a penalty for that. But a Tor PP as a result. good grief!

Depending on where division leaders finish... WC1 could be crossing over and then.. IF the teams last, could be Conf Finals...
- Nasty_Duck

Oh right! Conference finals is even better! More on the line plus it means the hurricanes are gone already. #winning

I know right? Being completely honest here, the refs seem more inconsistent than ever.

Hall should’ve gotten 5 games. Absolute disgrace to the game. Luckily for Lybushkin he was able to skate off the ice unlike Moore when Bertuzzi did the same thing.

In other news, B's sign tender Brandon Bussi to a contract. I'm sure he will split time down in Providence next year.

The idiot tri-fecta. Overreact, Troll and compare two situations that aren't even remotely comparable.

Right? If hall's punch deserves 5 games then Matthews cross check to the back of the head should have warranted 20-30 on that scale.

Not even remotely close? It’s the same exact thing. Punched a guy from behind that wasn’t expecting it. If that happened to the rat marchand you guys would be going wild right now along with ur homer announcers.

I got no love for Jack Edwards, and I have made that pretty clear on this forum but...

Go home, you're drunk if you think its the same thing. Watch both a couple of times, then come back here and tell me the exact same thing happened.

I dont think a single one of the Bruins fans on this website would be complaining about that play if the role was reversed. If Mitch Marner did that to Clifton, and Clifton went down like Lyubushkin did. Quite the sell job. Will Smiths open hand slap was harder than that. I'm pretty positive most of us on here would be discussing Cliftons poopty game.

It's not even close. Did hall kick your dog or something? Or you need new contacts? Hope you aren't driving - danger-on-the-road.

You think Bertuzi was suspended for a punch?
You think every punch thrown is the same?

According to your "rules" there'd be players suspended every week.

Maybe you'd like to post links for every crosscheck laid on players from behind.

Go take your righteousness somewhere else. No one is buying.

Bertuzzi was hunting Steve Moore. He chased him. Pulled him backwards, punched him in the back of his head and then drove his face into the ice. Then i believe he punched him again. Tell me when that happened last night

These idiots see what they want to see... the Bruins ARE actually the earthly incarnation of the Devil himself.

I could see Canucks fans carrying on a grudge from 2011, and The Leafs... well Bruins have not been good to them over the last decade.

But Rangers fans? Will be so funny if they lose to the Bruins in the first round after winning the Division. Rent-free-in-their-heads.
