Sheesh! I don’t know what happened to make Phantoms reporter Tony Androckitis of Inside AHL Hockey start covering the Penguins farm team instead. Damnit…who else really regularly covers the Phantoms live? Flyers do you care at all about your fans? Some of us liked following the prospects there.

The kids are exactly that, kids. They’ll be fine. - SuperSchennBros
Let’s hope….the Flyers should be trying to get the kids some valuable time…it’s invaluable for their development. In a lost season this can be a positive for sure. |

It doesn’t matter if they see ice time now or next season. Even when you sit Yandle, you’re still playing Seeler…a former Minnesota Wile pick up. Yandle wasn’t holding back anyone. |

I haven’t seen Sanheim play this well his entire career. If he’d always played like this, I’d understand the love all along. |

Are you serious? This is what Zac MacEwen has been evaluated on all season long, especially with the loss of Aube-Kubel. - SuperSchennBros
Rupp is in a different stratosphere as a player. im not getting into a lecture of the nuance of the game and the effectiveness of player...you either know or you dont |

If that was the case there would have been improvement the second Giroux left. In fact their play got worse substantially.
Biggest change has been the addition of younger players. The team is a lot different than prior to the deadline
Out
Giroux
Brassard
Yandle
Braun
Willman
Mayhew
Macewen
In
Tippett
Cates
Hodgson
York
Attard
Panthers are doing just fine with Giroux

You’re not going to because you can’t. Donald Brashear was a pretty good fourth line enforcer too but nobody is gonna jump all over Brashear’s points in agreement unless it’s convenient to their argument. |

If you’ve ever listened to the guy speak or explain the game you would know. Exactly, doesn’t matter what his role was. He addressed the situation and it was probably the best response I’ve seen. - ClaudeFather
also, JR was a great player but hes a clown. Hes entertaining and id love to hang out with him but hes a moron, understanding its partly schtick |

I never said I disagreed with your point about Yandle. I thought propping up CC like some sage voice was ridiculous |

How does a guy put up a boarder line hall of fame career if he doesn’t understand the game? You just differ in point of view. |

I think it does matter…had Yandle played any where near the way he was brought into to play then I might agree with you. But he’s been absolutely brutal. He made a good point when he said “every day in the NHL is a good day”. Everyday is a privilege, not a right. It pretty obvious and it has been for 4 + months of continued deterioration of play that really made the decision the logical call. |

Berube was 4th line enforcer. Stanley cup winning head coach. Does JR's opinion have more value than the chiefs as well?
Why does it matter what role a player played that their opinion should carry more weight?

Great question. It doesn’t matter but when you have three guys with an actual decent hockey resume and 1 guy who made a career of riding the bench, who should I agree with? The three guys pretty much said what I’ve said also season. |
