Here comes our end of the season worthless winning streak I can feel it. 2 games with Columbus coming up..the Ducks. There goes our top 3 pick. |
|
|
|
Well, we won. I could have done without the crash at the end of the 3rd and the need for OT and a shootout but okay, thanks.

Enjoyable game despite the 3rd period collapse. The young guys looked good overall. Really pulling for Tipper...wish he would've gotten another goal. |

I’m not a Hayes guy at all. I think he’s apart of the same Fletcher problem. Hayes brings in his friends. Fletcher brings in his. It’s laughable. I don’t care whether or not Yandle plays but ending his streak now when the season doesn’t matter anymore is what makes the Flyers look inept. - SuperSchennBros Rupp is very well respected around the NHL circles, and he is employed by the NHL Network cause he is well spoken and thoughtful. His take on the Yandle situation was 100% bang on! You just can't handle that fact cause it doesn't fit your tired agenda. Thanks!! |

Glad to beat the Rags!! Was called away when it was 3-0, but not really surprised the Rags came back on them cause everyone comes back on them. I like the fact that some of these young kids can skate!! This team has desperately needed to get faster and more physical for a long time now. |

I'm cheering for a top 5 pick but it's always wonderful to beat the rangers. I'm actually glad we won this one. |

Me, too
And the odds really aren’t that much different between the third and fifth worst standings for the top picks. It’s like 2.5% difference if you want one of the most touted players.
This year has been tweaked.
There is a decent chance for a top 5 spot.
Now what we *do* with it is a completely different animal. |

A lot of former players have worked for NHL network. Actual Clout comes from becoming a coach or a scout or working for an organization in a development position. Seriously guys, Rupp being on the NHL network is bullpoop. If you expect me to hop on Kevin Weeks opinions next, you’re nuts!
Agenda. My agenda. What the (frank) do I get out of defending the now snapped Keith Yandle Iron Man streak? Sometimes I have to ask what world you guys live in. I made my stance clear. Scratching Yandle was too little, too late. Some of you guys are so jaw droppingly stupid. |

Funny enough, I think that may be a thing people agree upon in here more than anything regarding the Flyers. |

3-3 tie without Yandle’s help. Whether he’s in or out doesn’t matter. We should have respectfully let the record play out. - SuperSchennBros
I generally do not care either way at this point. But Yandle should have never gotten the record to begin with. The Flyers have already done him a solid by allowing him to play one minute this season. He has the record.
I admit the timing is weird. However, he is quite literally the worst d-man in the league. He got his record now it is time to retire.

Agree completely. The streak is not just about being healthy enough to play. It's also about earning your spot in the lineup with your play. In my opinion the Flyers have disgraced the integrity of the game by keeping a player who can no longer play in the lineup. This is not something that just came about. It's been clear that he can no longer play all season. I've lost some respect for Yandle also. The player was put above the needs of the team. I get the timing aspect and that makes sense.

I thought so too. No expectations of winning helps just to watch. I think if they keep games close and let the kids play with speed it'll be a fine way to end the season.

In 5 years it will be 3 times. Unless the nhl rigs another draft - Keyser soze
Draft rigging is part of Buttmans history and methodology. It goes back to his NBA days and the total FU on TV with Patrick Ewing..
I have said it before, when the Philly cash cow runs dry and things are bleak he will wave his spazz wand and make things better..after the FLyers threaten to move

Why did you fill the need to point out that a top Dman in the league undressed a player who is basically a rookie in the league? Frost has only played 64 games in the NHL so far. Do you hate the flyers that much or are you a normal pathetic glass half empty Philadelphia fan? - WhiskeyMan

I actually can't stand losers like you!! We have a difference in opinion, but somehow you act like a little kicking and screaming child when someone disagrees with you. I totally disagree with your take on Yandle! Rupp is actually intelligent and played in the league for many years. And since you are being disrespectful why don't you go phuck yourself? Thanks! |
