Assuming someone was playing not to get hurt is ridiculous. If this was even possible, nobody would get hurt. Each player is risking injury every time they step on the ice.

Personally i would like to see a call up for a lhd dman rather than yandle getting the start, we know what he cant do(everything) so give a game to some of the younger guys who earned a game.

Högberg is injured. They've already decided Zamula needs a summer strength and conditioning program before potentially calling him up. They liked Zech enough last year in Providence to lure him as a free agent with an NHL two-way contract but he has missed a lot of time this season. Wylie doesn't look NHL ready. Millman is in the ECHL. So that would leaves Mennel or veteran Clendening.

Yandle is a matador. The only things he is missing is an orange cape to wave around and the PA system to play OLE every time an opposing forward skates by.
