It’s my opinion that players know they could possibly get hurt every time they step on to the ice? You’ve never seen a freak accident in a hockey game?

Getting hurt while playing hockey doesn’t just mean, taking a big hit and getting hurt on the play. A Ricochet from a pug getting shot could easily mean taking a puck to the face. Or pulling a muscle. There are plenty of ways to get hurt playing hockey.
