If Canucks traded down and grabbed him at 20th. I don't think I'd be disappointed, depending on who was still on the board. I wouldn't be as excited if they could pick him up at 25th or later though

You did use them as comparables. I certainly did not, I used an attribute that those players excel at. Which sets those players apart from the good at everything but not great at something crowd of defenders like Dermott.

So you can blame yourself for not understanding

Myrenberg's team now in the finals. Not sure what's happening in Sweden right now but first and second rounds were best of 3 games and Semi's and finals seem to be 1 game only.

How long did the Ben Hutton hysteria go on for? He is onto his 4th team in 3 years and now has found a home on Vegas for 2 years at 850K for when half the defence is injured

I’ve seen a fair amount of Dermott. He’s as advertised but in Hogtown it’s the fishbowl of all fishbowls. In the Leafs blog he doesn't get ragged on like many others do. Given Leaf fans are as critical as us on every little mistake by the Canucks he has done ok.

I watch cuz very entertaining & try to draw parallels on how our offence can get closer to theirs. Very fast team but we’re much better in goal. Their D is better but the margin isn’t great. They are softer than us.

Has 7 points in 7 playoff games as well. It would be nice if he take a good step forward next season. So many muddled Canucks prospects. None really taking that large step in the past couple years. Just a bunch of basically Benning prospects, a lot of fringe NHLers.

Jason D. has been horrible all season but somehow I feel as if I actually missed him because he is still better than some of the others that were replacing him. Still overpaid though.
