1) I said what I think the Flyers are going to do, make Sean Couturier Captain.

2) I said what I think the Flyers should do. Not name a captain and give 3 A’s out because this team isn’t good.

3) I said what I’d like to see. Ivan Provorov become a future captain. He’s young, healthy and takes on the toughest responsibilities most nights.

It’s not my problem if most of the dummies on this board overreact to everything.

Hayes is your next captain IMO. Thanks! I wanted Atkinson, but he has gone MIA since Giroux's departure. Hayes has stepped up and put the team on his shoulders. Couturier simply isn't captain material in my eyes. The dude seems like an introvert and this team needs some gusto!! Thanks!

Yes, all signs point toward Hayes. I'd like Atkinson as well, but assume vintage Flyers mentality, that they have their minds made up already (Hayes). I like how Hayes has played lately but am concerned about his ability to be a fixture in the lineup.

I think Couturier is too quiet and I think you may be the only one that sees Provorov as a potential future captain. Congrats ahead of time if you end up being right.

I dunno about the overreacting stuff, and I won’t page back to see, but I pretty much agree with the three points laid out.

I guises I’m fine with Coots getting the ‘C’, but I don’t know if anyone has grabbed the locker room by the horns or not. I don’t think so. Certainly doesnt appear that way.
