Goals? - Reubenkincade
Suspension |

My take...
His return in a trade will have to do on what he is looking for in a new contract. If he's dead set on waiting out for the qualifier and possibly going UFA, a prospect and a 2nd. If he's willing to negotiate a team friendly contract, a 1st round pick and a better prospect or a young quality(not top 2) Dman. - boonerbuck
That is fair enough.
Not sure I would be willing to give up a 1st, under any scenario for Brock. |

What do you think Boeser is worth? I know my expectations on a return aren't very high. - Reubenkincade
Tough call cuz where he would go give me differing ideas/wants. |

I have liked Petey's game since the coaching change. I think OEL stepped up his game when Hughes was MIA. I wouldn't move Hughes but would keep an eye on it for the future.
You get more movement with Hughes but also more D mistakes .They seem to play tighter when he is not in the lineup. But hell the kid is still so young . Need to see where he goes with his development.

I think he goes to one of the non-playoff teams, like New Jersey, Buffalo, Detroit or maybe even Ottawa.
Also, a team like the Islanders could really use someone to score a few goals for them. |

Pouty has played well recently, but I don't watch as much this season, as I lost interest as soon as Green was re-signed.
Pretty sad when one idiot GM can re-sign an absolutely terrible coach and make a loyal fan since their inaugural nhl season, lose interest in the team.

That’s pretty good. The QO is a sticking point but still very dependent on who wants Boeser. He’s not getting a 1-2yr 7.5m & allowed to walk after nor would he be very smart thinking not taking term with less money is bad. |

I dont have a hate towards any player on the team. - manvanfan
Neither do I it’s biz & he is expendable imo. The get would help redesign the roster build. |

It wouldn't matter who it was, someone would find something wrong with their game.
Weegar and Ekblad are both top 10 in giveaways. I doubt anyone is turning them away while they play for another team but if they did that on Van's team. Driven out of town |

All of thise teams are on my list who could use him & a few others. All but NYI have the cap for him to fit in easily. Picks/prospects would likely be the return in those cases. |

It’s hate to a degree as in the cap he takes up & their is enough other pieces to keep. Eg resign Miller & Bo. Biz is JB’s contract QO is the problem. I’d keep him if a new contract showed his worth. 4-5/5m. Once he gets into 5.5m & more no thx. He’s paid to snipe & this season has hurt his value & he doesn't do much than get quality TOI on PP1 & no PK & doesn’t hit or skate well enough to backcheck. Pretty much 1 dimensional & a passenger. |

If this season is the only sample size being considered, I agree. But I doubt any scout or GM is going to ignore his previous seasons when considering his capabilities.
I think it mostly comes down to economics. |

He missed 2 games? Not much to indicate how they play without him to be honest.

Ok my turn.
I’m not defending a well paid goal scorer who cannot pot 30+. Doesn’t drive play & slow. Somebody else defend what he is worth or why to keep him. |

Add Sharks, Seattle, Ducks, Philly and Montreal.
A 2nd and a prospect would be a fair deal. |
