If you are the GM of the other team are you giving up that young player with speed who is under a good contract? I don't think I would. Why not just sign a Max Domi or Nino N for free ?
- VANTEL

I said something similar, a few months back, what GM is willing to take on Boeser.
I sure wouldn't want him. He is an injury prone scoring winger. He gets injured but isn't involved in any physical play, doesn't block shots, not sure how he keeps getting injured.

He missed 2 games? Not much to indicate how they play without him to be honest.

It was an example. I used him because of his speed.
- Reubenkincade

Yes but he’s small.

Boeser slow as molasses for a young player with speed and a second? Who is our trading partner? someone that can’t see?lol. The way we are talking in here makes me think he’s not good enough for the nhl lol
- Bettmanhatesus

I didn't mind Brock in his 1st season, after that his flaws were easily identified.
Even the first season he was only given his role because the team was so starved for talent.
We, as fans, have adored players such as Stecher, Gaudette and Hutton, because of the lack of talent,.

I can tell you that all of those players listed there had been given MANY chances on their teams over the years to play top 6. Not so sure about PP1 time.

As Nucker and I have talked about a bottom 3rd liner is making 3M a year now.

Even Boeser's poor PPG player this year has him as the 34th highest PPG average among right wingers this season.

- manvanfan

Yup but PP1 pads stats & Boeser hasn’t lit it up as we’d expect. Also he’s always had top 6 linemates. He’s useless without them in other roles.

I think that back injury is worse than we think, lucky he’s not in a wheelchair.

He won’t be worth poop if we keep crapping all over him lol.
- Bettmanhatesus

I don’t think pro scouts notice less than me lol.

I painted the picture of what he is & does. Scores & not much else. Doesn’t score enough doesn’t deserve a raise.

I think he gets back a guy who has potential but also struggled . A guy like Zacha .

A prospect in a different trade would be someone like Alex Nylander.

I am not critical of BB games I just don't think he is worth more than a Garland type contract money wise ( not comparing skill).

What about taking back a mid range contract in the 3M range and getting an add on.

Joel Armia and MTL 2nd for Boeser.

Craig Smith and BOs 2nd and 5th in 2023.

Oscar Lindholm or Scott Laughton and 3rd in 2023.

Get a useful 3rd liner that could use a change of scenery plus an add on. Pretty much what Rangers got for Buchnevich last year. Doesn't look good on Rangers now with Buch ripping it up though.

Brock should’ve focused on a skating coach instead of Da Beauty league. Great players are pros always improving their game.

I would also like Greenway and a second but Minny does not have a lot of cap room

Zacha I can see. A Nylander is way past prospect & a bust. Totally agree on BB getting Garland money.

Yes they did. He did miss a fair amount of games, especially when this talent starved team was always getting crushed and he would have to block more shots, take more hits and the occasional freak puck to to mouth, Brock on the other hand, stays away from anything physical, most of the time.
