I mean Buffalo went and beat a bunch of playoff teams at the beginning of March, it’s almost like you have to get up to play anybody in this league no matter what their record is ? - Pegullaville

Had a great March:
beat some really good teams, points in all but three games, things looking up, keep this guy, re-sign that guy.
Lose THREE in a row to the top three teams in the East:
the team sucks again, fire and trade everyone, Adams doesn't know what he's doing again, no draft picks will ever sign here, might as well not participate in the draft.

The sentiment is very true; however, Adams goalie moves have been questioned all year, and we didn't get confirmation Vic was injured until recently. He has his warts.
Did we not learn from the ROR trade to not come to conclusions until a reasonable amount of time has past ?
We also going to ignore what Eichel has done defensively ?
Actually of course we are, we completely disregard Asplund being good defensively and Skinner being a black hole every day on these threads. - Pegullaville
Tuch is as good defensively as Jack.
Asplund was being rated as a Selke level defender by drunk people. Who ignored him?

After more than a decade, what do you expect. - Buff36
There's never a, "hey let's see what happens here". It's always the sky falling without knowing all the facts. I guess it's just tiresome. Maybe I'm the one who needs a break.

If I were actually comparing the trade I would add in Peyton Krebs stats and the value of a 1st v a 2nd. It don't get better from here for Vegas. We have the future of the trade because we have the youngest assests.

Not picking a fight, but Adams doesn't answer to you (or us). If Vic thought he could fight through it and attempt to contribute, then good on Vic for showing some toughness. Maybe they thought a 50% Vic was better than a 100% Bjork.

Yeah, but there's more options than just Bjork. Any warm body from Rochester would have been better. Not to mention Quinn, Peterka, or R2. And, I don't blame Vic in the least, I want my players saying they can go.
But, one of three entities, management staff, coaching staff, or analytics department should have been able to see something wasn't right.

No, not saying that for you Power and not trying to start a fight. But it looks like sometimes the old habits from years past rear there ugly head again.

I think we've been pretty fair with the organization this year, and very happy with Meatballs because of the team's heart and play.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I am terrified of CA/UPL next season. That's what is bringing the current edge to KA talk.

I'm more terrified if Anderson and UPL was the plan for next season until neither of Levi or Portillo signed, as I fear what the new plan will be. - kingcong39
Levi would be the uncontested AHL starter earning good money. He'd rather be a sophomore at North Eastern. That scares me to be honest.

I am very high on the growth, been saying it for awhile. But I still see a front office that seems to how do I say it. Hesitate, kick the can. - Buff36
Yep. I understand why the salary floor this season, I do. I can't countenance it going forward. They don't need to be at the cap, but they should be within 10% of it with forward flexibility next season. The Pegulas have no reason to be cheap anymore. And, we know Terry is a real fan. He'll come around. In the end, I am very optimistic. I know they have an arena deal done with Governess Hochul. We are lucky to have them.
