they want him with joker, at least today, because he's seen as a very steady, even keeled player. my guess is they let joker cover for him and let him play free.

Im saying both are benefiting from playing on a stacked team. A lot more so for Bennett than Skunk. but Skunk is still benefitting from it.

From his comments last week. Kinda sounded like he might be done playing. Had his fair share of health problems over the last couple years.

It wouldn't surprise me even with how good he's been this year.

edit: thought this was his last year on contract. He has 1 more.

I have no problem with him as a player and at this point cap number means nothing

If he has another solid season I am not opposed to throw him a 1 year 4 mil contract for 23-24

100% in fact this contract helps us in the short term. Imagine have 5-6 more mill to get to the cap floor? I feel if they let him walk we would all be female dogging about how we let him go.
