How dare you contemplate Sam Reinhart makes other players better. How dare you.

I'm a huge Reinhart guy. Just calling a spade a spade.

Although one could say that Huberdeau and Barkov are benefiting from it too.

Sam and Samson are both very good players, and both are important contributors to the success the Panthers have had so far this season.

- Ratsreign

For sure they are. But both were over ppg players before.

Where as Reinhart was not. And Bennet surely isn't a natural 30 goal guy.

Not sure why everyone takes these things as hate. Just calling what I see.

Nemec and Jiricek are going in the top 5, and maybe in the top 3.

How are the Sabres in a good place to get one of them?

- kingcong39

Jiri might fall. Nemec will not fall outta the top 5.

Hope we get some lottery luck. One of those guys would be so nice.

I don't see much in Geekie. He's slow.

If we pick 8th Slaf is gone. Hes big, skilled and has a heck of a shot. I'd think Savoie is gone too but Mocks have him falling to us.

As long as its not Geekie (imo) we should have a good or even great player at 8

Multiple mocks have Jiricek in the top 5, and some have him ahead of Nemec.

Neither are falling based on everything I am reading.

Savoie has been dropping.

Nazar has been rising, and quickly.

Didn’t see it as hate.
Just saw it as downplaying the worth of two very good players.

Fla pick, imo he's a no brainer. Top 10, possibly top 5 talent. Will take a little longer to develop coming back, but great talent addition in that range. With having an earlier pick in the 2nd right after, take a swing for the fences if he's there.

Thats what I was thinking..... say 2 years to recover play a season or 2 in the khl then come over. Heard hes elite level scoring and if you can get with a late 1 i think is worth the risk.

I highly doubt they both go top5 and we're picking 6th likely. Chicago and Ottawa have easier schedules and games in hand.

Nemec you're right, but Wright, Slaf, Cooley and Kemell go before Jiri. Kemell vs Jiri pick may come down to team preference, both NJ and PHI (the teams likely picking right ahead of us) are both brimming with defensive prospects. They both have a top pairing guy who is close (York/Hughes), both have pretty decent right handers coming too (Walsh/Attard).

Savoie IMO would be a godsend if we do indeed miss on the two righties.

Jiricek was rated number 2 overall by one outlet.

The Flyers are rumored to like Geekie quite a bit, as does Columbus.

On Kemell, the bloom is off the rose.

Nazar has many more fans now.
