Does he have no (frank)ing feel for a game? |

Forwards were a mess there too, and that was our best defensive group.

It’s a good thing we didn’t get a bunch of mid-round picks for Miller, Hinostroza, Pysyk, and Miller.
Can really feel the culture today |

Three 6th round picks arent doing anything for me, whereas I have enjoyed hockey for 5 weeks now. A game like today makes it harder to retain Anderson next season. There's always a silver lining. |

If not for Bobrovsky being Swiss cheese the other game, it would be three straight games of getting our teeth kicked in.
We could have had an extra couple mid round picks as ammo for rentals for next years deadline if we happen to be in the race.
C’est la vie |

Could’ve used those picks to refill the goalie pipeline. As it is, maybe the late 1st or 2nd will be in play for that position, though I’ve heard nothing about this year’s goalie prospects. |

With what? Late picks like those all would have been are basically warm bodies. You can sign undrafted collge kids for that. Losing Portillo, which is almost a lock at this point, is a way bigger deal. You ain't replacing him with a 6th round pick. |

Devon Levi was a 7th rounder
Jusse Saros was drafted with the 5th rounder we have the Preds in the Gaustad deal.
But yea mid round picks are more useless then guys who won’t be here a month from now ?

Nah, nah. I've seen this poop before from Sabre teams on Florida trips. I think this is this team's first case of the Tampa flu. Them boys were drinking and whoring last night. Hardcore. |

And there's an undrafted Hoby Baker winner out there. |

I love how it can never be "the Sabres played a good game" with you. Their last 4 games have been against 3 of the best teams in the league.
Just like sbroads and his "vEgAS hAs wOn tHRee sTRaiGhT" post about Eichel NOT being a cancer, yet they literally played some of the worst teams in the league something like 4 of their last 6 games and had one of, if not the easiest schedule over their final 15.
For analytics dudes you guys sure do like to move the goalposts every time you argue. |

They never wanted to upgrade the goalie situation. If that not apparent to you by now I can help you. |

That would be some excellent GMing if KA pulled that off. Gonna be some competition for that guy, but NOBODY has the amount of available spots like the Sabres do. |

The Panthers outshot is 43-22. Pysyk’s goal was a bs bounce off of Weegar and Skinner’s goal was one id want my ECHL goalie to save.
When Carolina and Florida woke up from their naps, they were able to do whatever they wanted.
The lightning are out for a Sunday skate right now just toying with us.
Meanwhile we could have acquired a bunch of lotto picks to use as assets for trades or to add to the depth of our prospect pool.
But hey two weeks of good hockey that will have nothing to do with future year success, sign me up I guess…. |
