hopefully that Vegas first is like 12th - SabresFaninIndiana
I went with the picks based on the current place in the draft order, but I have a strange feeling that the Vegas pick will be later than the Florida pick.

1st shift: 40 seconds of donination by the top line and Joker/Power against the Tarasenko / Buchnevich line. 2 saves by Biddington.
2nd shift 19:09: Dahlin hits - no bullshat - Asplund on a pass from - no bullshat - 5 feet in front of Anderson to the actual blueline (minimum 110 feet) to spring Asplund for a break. (RJ calls Asplud Cozens) he, of course following the night's theme, gets robbed.
CA just lets in an absolute dog. Buchnevich gives the puck a little excuse me tap in traffic and it bounces by CA. Terrible, terrible goal. 100% on CA.
The 1st line and the Mitts line dominated almost every shift. The 1st line generally dominates at home because Donnie matches them on shift against who he wants. The Mitts line seems to really be coming into its own.
Butcher and Fitz were good. They repped themselves well as a third pair. Samuelsson was missed because he brings size, strength, and hockey IQ Bryson just doesn't have, not because Bryson played poorly. He played fine.
Power/Dahlin pair: small experiment. After 5-2 Don shifted pairs and we saw:
Dahlin/Power
Joker/Butcher
Fitz/Bryson
I liked Dahlin Power ok, but I did not like splitting Fitz and Butcher whom I thought played really well together for 2.5 periods.
A game like yesterday makes bringing CA back harder and harder. That's a good thing.
