I'm sure there are nice homes either in or right outside of the city.
- jmatchett383

There are. I live in the city and just like every city some areas are run down and some are nice. For the guys with money there are plenty of nice spots. Most of them live just outside the city though in the quieter suburbs.

I keep Crosby, but the other two really have no ties to the burgh. Malkins wife and child live in fl, letang loves Montreal, they are really not going to give a hometown discount...i dont follow the jersey, i follow the team! Unless they give team friendly deals, move on. Also, hexy and burke aren't sentimental or where jerseys like the fans do, they will do what is best for team, which is what you want from a gm!
- PENS1989

How do you know what Hexy and Burke do? That's a pretty bold statement. And thank God you aren't the GM because if I was the owner your ass would be fired.

Sure, there are some really nice homes in Sewickley doesn't change the fact that the city still sucks. Fishing is way better down in FL and pretty sure Geno likes the offshore fishing.

So Pittsburgh and all the people that live in the city suck? That's not a blanket statement! Lol

Who cares about fishing? So you pick where you live over how good the fishing is? Im sure you are flourishing in the business world...lol

When you make 9.5+ million dollars a year, you don’t have to worry about flourishing in the business world dummy.

And yes. If I made 9.5+ a year I would have multiple houses based on my hobbies. That’s the god damn point of living.

I didn't have a bad time there, but I didn't have the time I was expecting. I will say the little tourist city they have set up for the stadiums was very impressive and I bet during football and baseball games are going it's gotta be a fun time.

FYI, I'm not sure who recommended Deluca's for breakfast, but man, I literally had the worst breakfast I ever had in my life lol.

Primantis lived up to the hype though. That was still the best thing I had while I was there.

Why would he stay in the 'burgh? That city is a poop hole lol I'm glad I moved out of Pittsburgh back in 2010. Who gives a (frank) where he goes when the season is over?

If I had the money, you don't think I'd have a house in the mountains? Somewhere other than FL?

You are pretty (frank)ing dense.

I would have a place in Pittsburgh for family and sports, a place in Florida and probably a cabin in Colorado.

I'm in Clearwater, outside of Tampa.

It's pretty bad in the winter, grey and gloomy af lol

I went back to visit during the all-star break when I worked for the Lightning and it was like -12 with the wind chill. F that. Never again.

Yeah I dunno, to me it's probably 95% the weather. I'm over winter unless I'm traveling to it on purpose to snowboard and I sure as hell am not snowboarding on the east coast. That poop is trash once you've been out west lol.

Florida and Colorado would be my go to's as well, maybe Wyoming instead of CO but I like that CO is at least close to a major city. There ain't poop in Jackson (which is where I would love to have a winter home to visit).

hahaha harsh conditions for someone climatized to Florida...just like the times I've been to Florida in the summer were unbearably humid and hot...disgustingly hot. Thats why I like Florida in the Fall.
