I don’t see Malkin’s transgression even closely resembling the Maki/Green incident. When I saw the video I though “so what”. I’ve seen that kind of shot happen all the time. I was more surprised at Borowiecki leaking like that.

I didn’t see the Bure elbow having any bearing on a crosscheck to the face. You’ve never eaten a stick to the mouth if you think ppl don’t leak. Again I had my 2 top front teeth broken on the same cheap shot. No it doesn’t happen all the time. He’s getting 3-5.

I don’t think they missed it at all. Ref and a linesman were watching it the entire time. Maybe they thought it was not as grievous as the Department of Player Safety thought it was. Who knows.
