Accurate call on the game/power play , hope our team can adjust to a stacked blue line.

This was a much better game by the Rangers than the previous contests against the Canes. The difference was goaltending IMO. Shesterkin cannot be faulted on that breakaway goal but you can argue the 3rd goal, if in full Igor form would've snagged that, the 1st was unacceptable. Yes the Rangers fell apart but they still were generating quality chances on 5v5. 0/4 of PP against the #1 PK is not unimaginable but you would think they would've scored on one.

Not hearing this from anywhere.. But they have to get this 3rd line jiving and contributing. I think you need to drop copp back down to the 3rd and kappo on the 2nd line.

I disagree. I'm glad you've relented on that Jarvis goal. That was a perfect backhand from in tight, all alone. Great goal.
And while I agree Igor was slow to move back to his post on the 1st goal, I have to think it's because he didn't pick up on the bounce of the puck. Lucky bounce landed right on Svechnikov's stick and banked in before you could say boo. 3rd goal was also a lucky bounce. Shesty started to drop into a butterfly for the shot, which was blocked. Then as he tried to reset, it dropped directly onto Aho's blade. Many goalies would get beat by that, in such a position.
We played one of the top 3 teams in the league and showed that we belong. Yeah, I'd like a W, but I'm not losing sleep on this one. Let's show them what we've learned next month!

Yea Laf has kind of fallen off over the last 5 games. It may help though having a better center than Goodrow between him and Kakko. I don't see Gallant moving Copp down. Only hope is Chytill can jump in there and spark Laf and Kakko at this point.

I feel like if the line is actually Lafreniere-Chytil-Kakko, Gallant would give them about 30 seconds of ice time every 3rd period

I just don't know what else they can do to spark that line

always seems like whatever line kakko is on, they get buried in their d zone or 3/4 of their shift. the data may say otherwise but just by the eye test he has a tough time driving possession in the offensive zone

I think they should try all combinations, (except leave Kreider-Zib-Vatrano in tact) before the season is over

they need to put a little distance still though between them and Pittsburgh though

tonight's a must, they can't risk losing home ice in first round

Yea hoping that is more rust right now. But I agree rarely see that line generating offense.

he's gonna be a really good player, there's definitely a place for the small creative players to succeed in this league these days

Kakko and Laf have to get a jump from another line.

Jarvis 33 points in 60 games since he plays with aho and svech

I'll keep saying this though

it will never matter what they do in comparison to other draft picks

that stuff is strictly online and social media stuff

So the TJ haters will love this

I usually do parlays but last night I thought to myself Kreider is gonna be on the ice late and he’ll get an empty net goal for his 50th since we’ll be ahead..so I bet Kreider to score THE LAST GOAL OF THE GAME!..$15 paid $165.

Well I was all set to spend it until Trochek ruined my night I was 4.8 seconds away fk lol

I know Kaako isn't living up to be the point scorer everyone thought he would be but I still think he is a really good hockey player. Don't get me wrong, I wish he was lighting the lamp like some of these other players, but he is so good defensively and seems to be in the passing lanes all of the time.

We ranger fans did the same thing with Malholtra. He was such a "bust" who went on to have a solid 19-year NHL career.

I agree somewhat but Malhotra was/is a bust for a 7th OA. If Kakko has the same career trajectory as Malhotra that would (frank)ing blow.
