Kreider not really a bargain at all actually. He’ll never be close to 50 goals again. This season was a fluke. $6.5M for 50 tap-ins off gift passes from elite playmakers like Fox, Zibanejad, and Panarin. Also does nothing besides score… terrible passer and lazy defensively. Bad contract |

Honestly Kreider had one of the luckier seasons ever. Praise should go to fox and zibanejad for finding this guys stick 50 times. |

That is completely wrong!!! Even if he reverts back to being his usual self between 25 to 30g, along with his penalty killing, PP skills along with his leadership role, makes his contract a pretty good deal!! |

This guy is big mad and seems like a clown. Kreider does have a higher-end shooting % but it's only a tick higher than Draisaitl's and a tick lower than Brock Nelson's if you look at the top 20 goal scorers. If all anyone needs is great playmakers then there should be tons of 40-50 goal scorers who get mostly "tap-in" goals. But there aren't. Maybe he won't score 50 again but 30-40 goals for $6.5m a year seems fair to me |

So he is calling Gallant an idiot for playing a lazy defensive player on the penalty kill all season? lol |

These are the types that will always look for a negative interpretation of anything in life through a myopic lens. Not much here to pay attention to.

I'll keep saying this though
it will never matter what they do in comparison to other draft picks
that stuff is strictly online and social media stuff - jimbro83
For sure, i just think giving them a veteran with talent will help. Chytl kakko and laf line scares me in a bad way.

I wrote on twitter with Kreider being a 50-55 point guy the rest of his career is worth that contract. The only bad contract on this team is Trouba. Even Goodrow is fine bc he rarely has a costly mistake.

I mean yeah somebody else can get the puck to you but you have to be able to receive it to put it in.
This isn't a Michael Ferland type situation where Aho or Gaudreau bounced the puck into the net off his junk 20 times each.
Kreider's had some luck here this season for sure but the guy has scored goals at a pretty good clip for most of his career. |

I think he has something like the most deflected goals in the last 3-4 years or something. I'd say you have to have pretty good hand eye coordination and skill to deflect it where you want. |

Speaking of the game, I thought it was pretty evenly played. Rangers are going to have to learn to shoot the puck more especially against a team like the Canes. Every goal cant be pretty |

if it was so easy I think we'd have more than four 50 goal scorers the last 100 years

Pretty even yeah. that first period was honestly stunning. Haven't seen the Canes struggle to get the puck out of their own end like that in a long time. Rangers speed was definitely a problem for Smith/Cole. |

Wheels fell off in the 3rd. That first goal by Svech changed the momentum and the canes took over in the 3rd |

Yup thought the Rangers were good in the 1st, needed more shots though, 2nd was pretty even, you guy were better in the 3rd. Was actually a fun game to watch, except for the score |
