#Flames Darryl Sutter on Vegas Golden Knights: “When they have the full squad, they’re the favourites to win the Stanley Cup. Other than the team that has the Stanley Cup, they’re the favourites. They have a $100-million payroll, so they have to figure out how to keep 20 out.”

This would make it all that much more laughable if they didn't make the PO's

Playoff goalie! Them and leaves are first round exits, I love it!

Only seen the last 10 minutes .Garland made some very good plays. Petey had some good chances.

I keep seeing people say move this guy and that guy but I say add a significant piece instead. I mostly like the team . I don't see Boeser coming in under 5 mil so if I was spending 7.5 mil on a scoring forward it certainly wouldn't be him.

Guys on my list would be
Kane
Domi
Nichushkin
Zacha
Heinen
Nino N

All of them under 5 mil.

Minivan made a proposal that I liked last week . Amia and a second for Brock. I know Armia only has 5 goals but he brings speed toughness and is cheap for a few more years.

For 20 games a season he’s a good 3rd liner. That and a second would be brutal value for a .75 ppg player.

Well they still have 50 year old Mike Smith. If he can refrain from yelling at his teammates he may get them a couple wins. 2 of the best players in the league and their boss sleeps in on the goalie hunting day. Be priceless to see Holland go term on his contract, and waste McDavid and Draisitle prime years.

This is true sort of. Look at it from another perspective that cap is a real part of the roster. Save cap & get a pick. Say Kane is signed for free for less than Boeser. Essentially could net Kane & Armia & a 2nd for Boeser near or at the same price. Lose years of the younger Boeser.

GMs have to make this part of their cap. As the old saying goes if you are not cheating you are not trying. They had a chance to try and fix the loophole at the GMs meeting this year and they said no thanks.

I can lend you a Gio jersey for the playoffs. it’s red though.
Usually that Losers Even After Fifty-5 Seasons quiets most of my Leaf fan buddies up.

As a closet Canuck fan and not a full fledged Canuck fan as reported by the by the "Who Is Allowed To Be A True Canuck Fan" committee on here what do you think a return on Boeser would be ? I can't see the other GM willing to give up too much.

I have never seen one episode of that. Rockford files neither. I grew up watching scrambled porn for about 30 years.

I think you can do that and end up with better value, is all im saying. Armia and a 2nd is a joke.

This poster goes through the trouble of starting a Vantelfree blog . I haven't answered him in almost a year and he still wants to engage.

I know we are not dealing with the smartest people on here but you have to somewhat aware that it defeats the Vantelfree zone if you are constantly looking to engage.

Some people should realize I don't care what they think of anything let alone hockey and stay on their own side of the Vantelfree zone.

I could see a better young player and a decent pick for him, he is under control and could potentially sign for many years before or after being shipped out.
