This poster goes through the trouble of starting a Vantelfree blog . I haven't answered him in almost a year and he still wants to engage.

I know we are not dealing with the smartest people on here but you have to somewhat aware that it defeats the Vantelfree zone if you are constantly looking to engage.

I don't see NYI giving up a first . They already have Whalstrom . I don't see a team giving up A prospects. You said a first round pick, Mtls second round pick will be 33 or 34 th which is almost like a first and a very good third line player.

I think y’all are way undervaluing Boeser, he’s a consistent 20 goal scorer, despite his lack of foot speed he makes smart plays with the puck.

I really doubt there are very good offers on the table or he would have been shipped out already. I don't think it is as black and white as Canuck Fans think. I have seen a lot of proposals on another site and the other team fans are not too excited to take on Boeser.

I know he’s Canadian, his dads from Osoyoos where I grew up, few years younger than me but he was an outstanding junior player in Penticton.
If Islanders can get permission to talk to BB and can get him signed to a contract they’d both be happy with, I can see the Canucks getting a 1st. They may have Whalstrom already but you can never have enough goal scorers, I don’t see that as a reason not to be interested.

Rakell 2nd, goalie prospects, some cheap players.

Thats free agents or RFAs cost. I don't see any firsts there.

The difference between the Flames first and the Habs second is 7 spots. The rest of the players Flames offered were B prospects like Rathbone and a third.

I am not saying Habs are interested either but it was a proposal that I liked.
