So if he was going to take a team friendly contract why would the Canucks not keep him?

I really doubt there are very good offers on the table or he would have been shipped out already. I don't think it is as black and white as Canuck Fans think. I have seen a lot of proposals on another site and the other team fans are not too excited to take on Boeser.

If they decide they dont want to give him 7 mil, find somepne who will. Hes worth a hell of a lot more than whatnive seen most on here post. Its a common enough mistake, where you think you know the value of your own players but the reality is GMs have a much better idea how good he is in comparoson to all other wingers
