Another guy who may flourish with more of an opportunity that Sabres should look at is Maxim Mamin (#98). If Marchment leaves there may be more of a chance here for Mamin next season, but FL is still pretty deep w/out Marchment. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to go somewhere where he can play more.

Brian marchments' son or nephew possibly?

I really like Marchment's game overall, but I have no idea what kind of pay day he is expecting.
- kingcong39

Idk how much he could reasonably expect. I don’t think he’s making much more (if any) than the League minimum currently.

He is the son of the most hated guy in hockey when he played (for me, anyway).
He has some snarl and not afraid to mix it up, but he’s nothing like the (imo) dirty pos player his father was.
Interesting that he grew up in Cali, and didn’t really start playing hockey until much later than most kids who eventually make it as a pro. (Think he wanted to be tiger woods as a youngster).

I coined the name SSTT. I knew it all along. Yeah right. I can't believe how good he is. I hope it isn't one of those flash in the pan Drew Stafford years. Maybe around goal #25 I was thinking it still could be, but there's no way. He makes everyone on the line better. I say stick with Skinner and Tuch on that line next year too. Goalofsson should play with Krebs and someone like Asplund to do the dirty work.

Props to you. You willed him to be good for your hate of ROR.

You're right, Lundell should be a Sabre.

Knock on him was that he didn’t skill it up enough.

Yet he had the best Corsi in the Liiga and the points were there to back it up.

Didn’t look cool doing it though like Zegras so it led some to believe he was skilled enough.

when you looked at staffords one big season even his goal scoring that season was streaky.. he had like 3 hattricks and then would go 2 weeks without scoring again.. Tage is in the mix every game.. drewsy wasn't

Snooze you lose, I guess. I was shocked when they passed on him. Didn’t think there was a snowball’s chance in hell that he would be there when FL picked.

That doesn't mean a ton since he's playing on the best offensive team in the league.. and who the 1st pick is...

Stutzle not far behind in ppg playing on a much worse team.

Good call, I like Mamin a lot. Big boy too. But sadly, I think March prices himself out and Mamin takes a cheap deal one year to cash on with such a glorious offense.

Good point. I remember a big game down the stretch where Sabres beat Wild i want to say in OT. Stafford might've got the hat trick on the OT winner? Might be off because Marc Andre Gragianni did something in that game as well.
