I pointed this out yesterday - while they acquired Jack they lost an awfully good player from their roster. They also lost a guy who seems to keep everyone pretty light.

Good call, sorry if I am just reiterating what you said, but agreed. It was easy to discount Tuch with a full roster but the injuries compounded the issue too.

Could absolutely be a partial truth.

The more I thought about it, the more it sounded right.

Eichel was the captain and probably had a loud voice thru out the organization. The Sabres were trying to appease the jerk at every turn.
Considering we had a soccer coach running the show, it really wouldn't/ didnt shock me.
A long time nhl coach would have a backbone and say, "you do your job" ect.

Thought I would share.

- Boss34

I think it fits his perception but just seems so ridiculous. His will to win to me well exceeded some kind of personal achievement to score more individually.

They couldn't rebuild if they wanted to - they have too many immovable contracts. The only thing they can do is continue to double down. And in the short term that will be ok as they do have a ton of talent on the roster. The problem is that most of their good players are on the back halves of their careers.

You can trade anyone you want. We should all know this by now.

They don't have that camaraderie feel anymore because they pulled those identities out of the room. They don't have a future because they traded Krebs, Suzuki, Glass, Brannstrom, Veleno, Texier, TVR, and Alex (frank)in Tuch. I smell a full rebuild in 3 years or less.
- TheSabresTaco

Would be fun to pack the arena with Sabres/ other road team fans, can't imagine how the locals will react to a rebuild.

Teaching Vegas fans to embrace the tank. 😀

Makar more than him.
- lacaprup

Dude read the definition for Hart and then come back here.

Barkov and Makar play on STACKED teams meaning they deserve it a lot less than guys like Josi or Shesterkin

oh, sorry - I didn't mean to imply that you were stealing my thought. I never thought I'd say this but I have come around on the whole team chemistry idea.

That's seriously what I heard....

Not sure if its 100% true, but eichel did score more goals without skimmer.

The shoe fits....

skinner was not the first or last Jack wanted off his line

it blows my mind that any one player would demand a coach to remove another player from his line. i would need to see it to believe it.

like I can understand it under certain circumstances, for both players to maybe approach a coach and say hey, this isn't working, we're losing, can we try something else.

But to habitually just say no I don't want him with me, on many occasions, is just insane. Especially if those reasons are selfish.

Evander Kane's grievance hearing over his termination from the Sharks is this morning. That is a story that isn't getting a lot of publicity and I don't know why. The outcome will affect the Shark's cap for years (not to mention Kane's creditors).

All the Eichel is the coach jokes....
Having a soccer coach and a rookie p@ssy coach in soft mannered phail lousley.

Didnt like disco, because he didnt take advice on the line up , from a player.

The fact that eichel was captain as well.

You probably will never see it first hand 🌮

This is definitely something that has materialized within this dimension.

Remember Tim Murray showing deep disappointment after losing the lottery to Edmonton? How he was hammered by everyone for saying "I feel sorry for our fans?" I remember. Tim Murray knew. Tim Murray was right.

And I could very well see them doing this and that's where Nashville has to put together some wins against the TOP teams in the league Flames Wild Avalanche Lightning.

Seeing that Vegas has their last 3 on the road makes me feel a little better though

Vegas pretty much gotta win out. Losing to one of their “easy” games is a killer. And I’m here for every second of it.

If we can will Nash and LA to win tonight, it would be just as big of hit as them losing last night.

now I gots to go to the pharmacy

I haven’t put too much thought into it, but it seems the Rangers would be no where near first in the metro w/out shesterkin routinely standing on his head for them.
