Lots of people are going to hate this but if we're at the position come draft time we should take Lambert.
I believe we have a good foundation and leadership to take on this kind of player And make him become the player hes supposed to be - gerbe75pts
You're right, I'd hate it as Lambert has effort issues.
No more of that type of player please.
I'm hoping for one of Jiricek or Nazar with the Sabres pick and one of McGroarty or Isaac Howard with the Vegas pick. |

Tracked 14 NTDP games. A few thoughts:
Logan Cooley's having the best xA1/60 (passes for scoring chances) season I've tracked for a DY player.
Gauthier's top-5 in xG/60, and Howard isn't too far behind.
Devin Kaplan's top-35 in xA1/60.
(643 players w/ >7 games tracked) https://t.co/slJ1VLk8VL

Frank Nazar is having one of the craziest DYs I've tracked. Top-5 among '17-22 DY players in xP1/60.
Leads the NTDP every notable zone entry stat I track. And he's first in the entire data set in creating chances off the rush with an even split of shooting and passing. https://t.co/KawvTOEFZ4

Thanks 39, been looking at Nazar a bit more, really like his motor, he really is a dog on the puck. If Jiricek isn't there, he would be my 2nd choice. And Gauthier or McGroarty would be my Vegas pick. |

Very impressive highlight videos. This kid skates like Max used to, but he has the hands Max never did. Consequently, his release on his shot looks well above average to go with the elite skating ability. It would be nice to have a C who can carry the puck in zone like he does. He looks like the fastest player on the ice in every video clip I watched. |

I think Jiricek will be gone when the Sabres pick and Gauthier will be gone when they use the Vegas pick.
I'd be happy if they reached a bit with the Vegas pick and took Isaac Howard, but nothing wrong with picking McGroarty there. |

He's also a max effort, super competitive, not afraid to go to the tough areas on the ice player.
I hope they select him with their pick. |

Oh yeah, his motor is also obvious in the videos. Looks like Skinner a bit in that way. |

I think it comes down to that to, but if Luneau is anywhere close to when we take the Fla 1st, I would trade up to get him. |

Kid can skate, he would fit nicely with the Sabres, he's all effort. |

Yes, with massive playmaking ability and consistent effort defensively.
Isaac Howard has many similar positive traits. |

It's the thin line him and Pegs don't seem to understand, the difference between playful ribbing and getting personal and ugly.
Christ, even Rsh can handle it better and that dude is all over the place. I think I've finally figured him out, though. Him and his grandson post from the same account on multiple devices, hence the self-quoting and personality changes. - BeadyEyedDouche
Dude you crossed like 8 lines before I made a playful joke that a picture of man’s legs were your wife’s then you threatened me with legal repercussions. |

Well, there is that. That was the non-sports moment of the year so far.
Coming in 2nd is the great Battle of the Queen's Way Banhammers. |

I mean I blame myself really because I keep coming back to this website and engaging with someone of his elk, but like common now.
He blames Fitz for playing the victim card yet calls me every name in the book for months and then when I push back he cry’s wolf.
In the last few months alone I’ve been called a misogynist, insecure mitch waiting for my father in law to die, insinuated I was sexually assaulted by Damon Allen for saying you can win a SB without Elite QB play, and then the cherry on the cake was last week when I asked him if he had a bong he told me he was sorry my son had to grow up with a father like me.
All I did was make a joke that his hairy legs were his wife’s, and then said she married him for a green card (which is a dig at him if anything) after being put through the wringer for months.

The thing with the "poppers" was bizarre to me. I have several gay friends (hell, I met my wife at DBGB on Allen) and I had never heard the term in that context. I actually thought you meant what I used to call "crackers" which were nitrous oxide cartridges kids inhaled. Granted, my going out days are years behind, so who knows what anything means anymore? |

Well, I finally figured out why some good posters stopped posting here. You know everything, you decide what can be said, you determine who is right or wrong and above all you alone have it all figured out.

I don't kmow. I think when you come in with something to the effect of "Kyle Okposo should be shipped out" WTF would anyone not think you're trolling? |

I do think him and skinner should be shipped out. Value is high now so that's my reasoning.
I also don't think KA would trade Okposo without his blessing but he wouldn't bother asking Skinner |

Fair I guess, but it seems to ignore everything Okposo means to the team.
In the case of Skinner, if there weren't a HoF list of UFA forwards this year you could get fair value for him, but then he has to be replaced with another 30+ goal 1st line winger. Jeff Skinner plays against the best defensive players every game and has the most even strength goals on the team and he and Tage have on ice chemistry. When we have more cap space than any team in the NHL, there's no way I'm risking a Skinner trade.
