Would you trade this year's first (our first) and next year's first for #1 overall this year?

Pros: The kid is really good and has been tearing it up in recent weeks. Also, he would probably start here next year.

Not for the Bedard/Mich bowl and not for Wright. He's good, but I'm almost sure he doesn't end up being the classes best forward. He's simply the most sure bet to be good, whether he's great is a big question.

yes the cap space will be the issue.. unless inflation hits NHL cap and it makes it more palatable.. i just doubt it will change that much

Just playing devil's advocate - I don't see why this trade would affect that. After all, we're going to be drafting *someone* and new kids would be added to the pipeline either way.
