I think its that much sadder (more sad?) when you consider the song. It isn't like this guy is trying to hit multiple octaves. - Slump Buster
Right. He's not singing (frank)ing Queen or even Queensryche, for that matter. 🤣
I just wonder what happened. He's always been pretty consistent. |

Interviews of Meatballs, Krebs, Mitts, and Power on the Sabres app. Probably website too. Mitts and Meatballs interview particularly interesting. |

I've read that if singers don't sing for many years that they lose it. The best example of this was supposedly George Michael - he didn't sing for the better part of a decade and when he came back he sounded like garbage (and he had 10 times the voice that Bon Jovi had). I am a big Rush fan - the boys toured regularly and Geddy could still sing most of their songs in a respectable way (70's stuff understandably excluded - nobody can sing that high).

On Wednesday, U.S. Capitol Police evacuated the Capitol complex due to an aircraft that posed a "probable threat." It was a scary few moments, but it turns out the whole thing was a big misunderstanding that involved the Washington Nationals.
The U.S. Army parachute team aircraft was circling the Washington D.C. area waiting to drop its members for tonight's Nationals game. Apparently no one communicated that fact to the Capitol Police.

A banana republic is where there is no rule of law - not quite the same thing.

I saw Live in London. Don't get me wrong - he didn't embarrass himself, it's just that he was a shadow of his former self (which is still better than most). Not unlike Bon Jovi his voice was at times thin and he was clearly tired at different points of the concert. You don't see that from singers like Bono that have toured regularly throughout the years.

Bono has always sucked at singing though so you don’t notice it |

Lol, no poopt? Me too. I heard the song Queen of the Reich* and went to record store and bought The Warning, which had just come out. Queen of the Reich isn’t even on it, lol, but that album is so good. Geoff in all his glass shattering glory. The drummer kicks ass, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erunbWgNfjE

The Sabres have played 4 games a week for the last few weeks. The last 3 days with no games has been weird |

Sure, but we normally think of small, relatively powerless nations for this term. When the Banana Republic in question is literally the most powerful nation in history, things will look slightly different. We can't go from 100 to 0 in the United States over the course of 20 years. It will take 100 years at least, but think of the position of America today (internally and internationally) and compare it to America just before the NY Times lied up some yellow cake uranium and mobile aluminum tube centrifuge labs. We're a shell of what we were just 22 years ago in reality and in reputation. We have serious dispute over our last two Presidential elections in a row. That's as Banana Republic as it gets.
Don't read Arnold Toynbee. It's too depressing. |

Check out who gets stripped of the puck for OV's 50th. Soooo overrated. Shame Vegas won it in OT.
And, I wouldn't want the Caps in round one. OV saw 50 on the horizon and boom boom he's got it. He's been holding back all season and he has 50. No doubt Wilson has another gear for the playoffs too. You want the Pens in round one. OV might be a goalscoring wreckingball in the 1st round. |

"I would like to play at least another season," Fleury said Tuesday. "I decided that recently. I still enjoy playing. I still have fun, my body is still holding up, most of the time. But yes, another season and we'll see after."
"Fleury is 25-22-5 with a 2.90 goals-against average, .910 save percentage and four shutouts in 52 games for the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks this season, his 18th in the NHL. He is 6-1-0 with a 2.59 GAA and .921 save percentage in seven games since being traded to the Wild on March 21."

One season. He only wants to play one more season. It couldn't line up more perfect.
