Id get Power out there too but I don’t see the misfit.

He’s made some beauty plays on the PP this year

Really? I just see him give the puck back to Dahlin every time he touches it.

If there is ever a time to move Mitts in a trade, the offseason would be the time.

Not sure he’s gifted enough offensively to be a top 6 forward, not nearly good enough defensively to be a third line guy.

He’s a fine player, but expendable due to the numbers game

- Pegullaville

I’d trade him if the deal makes sense but there’s absolutely a spot for him here if not.

Guys who can put up 40-50 points in a third line/PP/2nd PK role have value

Hell, he could center the 4th line and still be of use

He fed Thompson’s game winner yesterday on a great cross ice pass

He’s done it a handful of times in his limited games

Was joking a bit, but I see him as a placeholder there.

Mitts is a fine play maker, I just think Krebs is a better one

Yeah and I’m fine with that Power is more important by a wide margin.

But Mitts provides depth in a number of areas

The flyers are the worst team
In the league. No knock on our game, we are playing great. They just look defeated

I agree on all counts,

I’m not giving him away, but if he gets me a better player I wouldn’t hesitate to include him in a deal

This is how we looked last year. Teams just keeping the puck in our end forever. It's nice to be on the good side.

Those are the worst. 4 minutes of total domination, followed by a goal from Philly in their good 20 seconds.

I give Don a lot of credit not switching back to the regular line combos at any point in the last two games when we were down. I really wonder what his thoughts are on the optimal combos. For my money, I want 74, 37, 71 back as my third line. They really had something going against St. Louis and a couple game before that.

Asplund, Okposo, Cozens for the offensive draw. That's a nice shutdown line too.

The Sabres abilty to do a continuous 5-man cycle in the offensive zone is starting to separate them from other teams. I always remember teams trying a 3-man low cycle in the corners of the offensive zone with just the forwards. I've never seen the Sabres play a 5-man cycle with the D and forwards continually covering each others spots. Impressive in the last 3 games especially.

As we all predicted, Tage Thompson matches Jake Eichel's highest Goal total!

It’s weird to watch the flyers play without giroux and vorcek.

And whom ever thought Hayes and JVR deserve long term deals should be fired

Power and Quinn make VO expendable. Sell high.

With VO as the focal point, our PP has been average for years. The goals are pretty though.

- Lunaion

Selling high is a nice thought, but what is considered as selling high?

What is another team giving up in order to meet the sell high condition?
