yeah reporters never cow tail to the owners when pressured

I assume the apology was before Terry said ship this punk out of town

- homiedclown

Pretty sure the owners were extremely butthurt about Eichel no longer wanting to remain.

Nobody will be easy, but if Panthers play their game they will advance.
I worry about the Caps a bit because of Wilson, and even more so, that kook Hathaway running around throwing cheap shots.
Boston is always tough for FL to beat.
Pens are certainly no pushover either, although they seem to be struggling a bit lately.

👍

From an outsider's perspective, seams like you can outscore anyone.

Probably need to match up vs. A softer team, use your ruggedness and dictate the physicality.

Panters win 1 series, they definitely can get rolling.

I'd say Pittsburgh would be a good match up

I'm personally convinced had Eichel had a Tuch-like attitude to remain here, he'd have gotten his preferred surgery in June.

Are you worried about Bob in the playoffs? He seems to shat the bed when it comes to post season play.

What was Hambone's most recent blunder?
- TheSabresTaco

He said the commercial Eichel /Allen did together, Allen had to carry the entire thing (I believe that) and that Eichel was such a wiener Allen told his people he’d never do that again with him.

Within 10 minutes he was back on air retracting his story

what's your take on it. You really honestly think they'd have shipped out a superstar that hypothetically had a Tuch personality?

Maybe the most important team is Vancouver...win tonight and then keep pace with Vegas and that's 2 teams that Vegas has to pass.

LA should be a cinch with 3pts in hand, equal games played and 4 bottom feeders coming up.

Dallas with 4 pts in hand, 1 game in hand and 3 bottom feeders to play

Nash's backs are against the wall with their remaining schedule

- Leninthebuff

Good thing I think Nash is the best of those teams (Saros a big reason why). Not to mention Nash has the tiebreaker right now in Reg wins. Vegas would have to outright pass them, so that helps.

The Pegulas were very butthurt that Eichel asked to be traded because he didn't want to go through another tank, err i mean losing to get draft picks, er rebuild.

Eichel even said he'd come back play after surgery to up his trade value to help the team.

both sides are very much to blame for what happened.

But we are "Friends" with the Sabres, so we take their side and say things like "You're better off" "She was crazy" "There are plenty of others out there"

he was a fringe superstar that demanded to be traded a few times, to take it back the next day
demanded a coach be removed or he won't sign an extension
demanded he got the captain
toxic in locker room
etc
etc
etc

the owners gave into every demand he made until the surgery and at that pint they were tired of the jack eichel act

I think once they saw a true leader superstar in josh allen, it was easy to move on from eichel

Idk, Bob will let in a stinker and then stand on his head afterwards. There’s been many games where he held the Panthers in the game until they got it rolling on offense. I’m more worried about the team in front of him playing pond hockey and leaving him hung out to dry.
They are good enough to not have to try and force the offense, they can be defensively responsible and still score four or five. Bob has actually been pretty damn good this year. But, yeah, I do worry about it a little. (Maybe) The best thing Bob did last offseason was swear off social media, I think the bashing he takes on there really fukked with his head.

Dude read the definition for Hart and then come back here.

Barkov and Makar play on STACKED teams meaning they deserve it a lot less than guys like Josi or Shesterkin

- DirtyDan

So, you're obviously eliminating Huberdeau and AM34 as well, and I might add the NY Rangers have a player with the highest % of his team's goals in the NHL this season along with a Norris trophy winner, a guy with 90 points named Panarin and another slouch named Zibanejad, so there goes Igor.

It was quite recently. Maybe the day after Vegas game. He said Jack snubbed Allen at a promotional event or commercial they folmed together. He had to call the station and apologize about 5 minutes after he said it.

Most definitely but my worry is Cal twice, Minn Colo and TB...they have to get 4 pts out of that and beat Ari the last game

No I recognize reality. I think most if not all of us are fully aware that there's a ton of blame to go around.

I just don't think if Eichel was a different person who fully embraced this team through thick and thin, was very likable and a true leader, I just think the Pegulas would push that surgery through.

like I said. I was framing a hypothetical. This scenario is a lot easier to frame.

Let's pretend a 75 point per season Alex Tuch needs/wants ADR.

Do the Pegulas push it through?

So your saying 1 player scores a lot and not 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 like Colorado and Florida and Toronto etc.

Not sure who posted but you can go back a page or 2 and see the fancy stats how they are very mediocre without him.

Honestly I think they only need 3 outta those top teams if they can beat Ari. If they can't get 3 they don't deserve to make it. Would get them 9 up with Vgs having 5 games.
