No I recognize reality. I think most if not all of us are fully aware that there's a ton of blame to go around.

I just don't think if Eichel was a different person who fully embraced this team through thick and thin, was very likable and a true leader, I just think the Pegulas would push that surgery through.

Based on the muted comments from the guys still here Jack was a problem in the locker room. glad he's gone to be honest because the sabres are actually fun again.... I don't think for 1 sec that jack is gone and this team playing better is not related either way whatever Hope he is happy in Vagas. I like the trade now I love the trade. It’s what I said for years. Sum greater than parts. We become better trading him. And we have. If their pick is 15th too, that should be a very decent player

It was quite recently. Maybe the day after Vegas game. He said Jack snubbed Allen at a promotional event or commercial they folmed together. He had to call the station and apologize about 5 minutes after he said it.

so there is some form of common ground

in 19-20, I honestly thought eichel turned a corner, at least on the ice
you could see the hard work finally at both ends
