Yeah would be a tough move. Imagine him and Allen in the backfield together, the plays you could design. And Deebo has a pretty good arm to.

I think the shootout will be scrapped one of these years but I absolutely think that this kind of stuff will get addressed this offseason. It has become cartoonish and beyond the spirit of what a shootout should be.

The issue isn't about movement, it is about lack of movement. You can dangle or go side to side all you want. Once you slow down that's when it gets goofy.

Semi agree with you, something to fix that would be like, put both guys(shooter and defender) at the blue line. D-man can't move till puck is touched. Bu then its not a shootout.

They really should just scrap it and extend OT.
