So you think Chytil has been good? Not a disappointment? You’re kidding right?

Chytil has 7 goals in 62 games this year. He now has a whopping 41 in 248 career games. How anyone can not look at him as the” disappointing” player amongst the NYR has me in the twilight zone haha I mean if he’s not scoring goals, what good is he?

He’s now 22 years old. It’s getting time to move on. Especially if his next contract is more than the current 2.8? I believe it is. That would be a very foolish decision. He’s got one more year to prove it.

Just heard in the pre-game, it's Chris Kreider Spotlight Night. You know what that means... we will all be complaining about the stupid split screen

Really didn’t want this to be a bash Chytil day :sorry get ready for a filip hatty tonight tho

But if you think about the 3rd lines struggles all year, the one consistent on it has been Filip. He’s never moved up or down off the line.

Imo he should be considered the odd man out game 1, rd 1 (im assuming Motte and Kakko are playing. I read/heard somewhere that Motte could be ready)

Kreider - Zib - Frankie Wheels
Panarin - Strome - Kakko
Laf - Copp - Goodrow
Motte - Rooney - Reaves/Hunt

*could easily swap Goodrow and Kakko

Chytil at the least, can play on the fourth line if he dresses. To me he’s the weakest link right now

National Lampoon's??
He ain't gonna be ready. They haven't ruled him out for a playoff appearance, but we'll have to go deep.

There's this carcinogenic homer mentality that I simply do not understand. Its like, if they were drafted by the Rangers, they're undeniably supposed to become studs. People will latch on to certain players and never give up. All Chytil has to do is score/have a couple good games every 7-8 games just to remind people hes still there and those people who latch onto players like that will always use the most recent couple games to justify whatever senseless argument they have.

He is a good player. But one of those dime a dozen players. Easily replaced.

I know he’s only 22, but 248 is a lot of games to be mediocre at best. I very rarely get on players but he just doesn’t do it for me any longer.

From now on all of Stromes power play points will go to Lafs pts ledger.

We need to launder his stats

Laf now has 18 goals, for the record. And his first ever power play goaaaaaal
